Hey! I’m KazamaVT — the developer behind Project Bācharu Toshokan.

I’ve been part of this community for about five years and have seen a lot, from major VTuber graduations to rebrands. With so many VTubers out there, and no single page that reliably covers large, mid-sized, and small creators, I started researching how this problem could be solved.

About two years after I began VTubing (in November 2020), I started drafting a database that could merge VTuber information from multiple sources. Around that time, I discovered resources like the VirtualYoutuber Wiki, VTubie, Hololist, and others where people manually add information about their oshis. I loved the idea, but I also noticed a major issue: if there aren’t dedicated contributors maintaining the pages, the information can become outdated. The VirtualYoutuber Wiki is one of the best-maintained VTuber resources, thanks to the community behind it. At the same time, no wiki can realistically cover every VTuber—especially newer or smaller creators who may not have dedicated fans keeping pages updated. That’s why I use it as a source whenever a VTuber has a page there.

Building this platform means aggregating data from multiple sources (wikis, social media, streaming platforms, etc.) and merging it into a clean, searchable resource. It’s a demanding task, but my goal is to bring everything together in one place so it’s easier to look up and compare.

I take no credit for the content shown on the site. The information comes from the people who keep these wikis updated (huge thanks to them) and from VTubers who keep their social profiles current with their latest statuses.

The name Bācharu Toshokan (バーチャル図書館) means “Virtual Library” in Japanese — a fitting name for what aims to be a comprehensive VTuber database and reference on the web.
