AuroraLiveVR, (or "ALVR" for short) first known by their Chinese name 极光社 (Jiguangshe), is a Chinese VTuber company. AuroraLiveVR has approximately 200 active VTubers and over 10 million followers across their company Chinese and English social medias. They specialize in VTubers designs with Chinoiserie style clothing. AuroraLiveVR used to have their own artist team called FairyZero, but all the artists have cancelled their contracts and left. IchigoUsagiVR was their most notable model artist from FairyZero, and 弘幸Hiroyuki and 狐茶shiroi were their most notable riggers.

2021
<p>The agency first established itself on 1 August 2021. One of their most notable talents, <a href="https://space.bilibili.com/1025491703" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Serafina 塞拉菲娜</a>, began streaming "pre-debut" with her 1.0 on 17 December.</p>
<p>AuroraLiveVR continued to host online public auditions for models they would release one by one into the Chinese VTuber market on Bilibili throughout 2021.</p>
2022
<p>AuroraLiveVR opened auditions for the 1st Wave of Kaleidosekai talents on 10 May, with the model "Twin Flower." The audition was announced only in their Discord Server. The model was a half succubus half TaoTie 饕餮 demon model designed to be the twin younger sister of their Chinese talent <a href="https://space.bilibili.com/1979294609" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Hachiki Hakaba 八桦蜂吻</a>. The model was named <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/Cayena" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Cayena Hakaba 八桦卡夜娜</a> and she debuted on 20 July on Twitch.</p>
<p>ON 27 July, Serafina "officially debuted" with her 2.0 model upgrade and over 50,000 followers on Bilibili.</p>
<p>AuroraLiveVR opened auditions again for another member of Kaleidosekai on 10 October. The model was drawn by IchigoUsagiVR's artist apprentice PChan and rigged by <a href="https://space.bilibili.com/627420027" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">狐茶shiroi</a>. The model was named <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/pewsume" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Pews Ume</a> and she debuted on 19 January.</p>
<p>On 26 October, Cayena Hakaba had her first Bilibili stream for her 17,000 followers.</p>
<p>Serafina released a cover of Golden Hour by JVKE to Bilibili on 22 November. She uploaded a teaser of the cover to her Twitter on 23 November 23, where she had just begun being active on since October 2022. The video went viral, garnering over 350,000 views, over 10,000 retweets, and over 35,000 likes. Serafina then uploaded the full cover to her Youtube where it gained her over 50,000 subscribers and 1,000,000 views. This brought a lot of exposure to AuroraLiveVR in the EN scene.</p>
2023
<p>AuroraLiveVR released their Global MV for <a href="https://youtu.be/lCakBxJByzc" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Inf:Rhapsody</a> talents on 15 August, marking a new start for the EN Branch. EOS Elypsis of Inf:Rhapsody, a talent and staff known as "snake lady" revealed the corruption of ALVR in a <a href="https://youtu.be/Oe6A5MWlx0o" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">video with FalseEyeD TVS</a>. She left the company on 19 May after waiting over a year just to never debut, and her model was recolored and <a href="https://x.com/AuroraLiveVR/status/1717491258883490269" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">released for auditions</a>.</p>
<p>Lilian Shizukan of Inf: Rhapsody announced her graduation on 21 November. Yume Hikari of Inf: Rhapsody announced her graduation on 23 November.</p>
2024
<p>FairyZero, as stated by IchigousagiVR on <a href="https://x.com/Usagi_ichig0/status/1787052269906903210" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Twitter</a>, effectively cancelled their contracts and shares with AuroraLiveVR on 5 May.</p>
<p>On 7 June, Mion Akuma of Inf: Rhapsody announced her graduation date of 15 June.</p>
<p>On 12 June, Ai Mirai announced her graduation date of 15 June. On 13 June, Kogane Karina announced her graduation date of 15 June.</p>
<p>Yuka Momiji debuted on 9 July and graduated on 9 December.</p>
CN Branch 🌌
<p>The CN Branch was the first Branch to be established by 极光社 in 2021. The first models were drawn by IchigoUsagiVR, and some models even had 3rd party artists not from AuroraLiveVR's artist team, but this practice has since been halted. All models are required to come from AuroraLiveVR's own artist team as of today. There are over 100 talents in the CN Branch, and not all of them have 极光社 in their bio as tagging in profiles is not possible on Bilibili. Some of the most notable ones are listed here. Inf:Rhapsody
<p>The disappearance of the auroras caused upheaval in the world, with massive shifts in the magnetic field and the rise of malevolent creatures. Demons and humans fiercely contested resources, plunging the world into wars. In this post-apocalyptic wasteland, a new order emerged: demons, humans, and neutrals vying for control. Simultaneously, numerous scientists toiled day and night, seeking to unravel the true cause behind the vanishing auroras. In this chaotic new world, each individual struggled to find a balance between their inner selves and survival. The question remained: if the auroras were to be reclaimed one day, would the world return to its "normal" state as desired? Only time and fate held the answers to this enigmatic conundrum.</p>
<p>After EOS Elypsis, Lilian Shizukan, and Yume Hikari left, two more talents joined. Their names were Ai Mirai and Kogane Karina. All talents have since graduated. After all three left, leaving the EN branch with no talents, a single talent debuted named Yuka Momiji. She has since graduated.</p>
