<p>On 18 July, Connect announced the debuts of <a href="/wiki/Tomomo_Mimiko" data-wiki-target="Tomomo Mimiko">Tomomo Mimiko</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/youriruruca" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Youri Ruruca</a> later that day.</p> <p>On 19 July, Connect announced the debuts of <a href="/wiki/Uten_Hiyori" data-wiki-target="Uten Hiyori">Uten Hiyori</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/inarizawakon" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Inarizawa Kon</a> later that day.</p> <p>On 20 July, Youri Ruruca uploaded her cover of <a href="https://youtu.be/YHYjW6oeSks" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Cosmology of NyanNyan</a> (猫猫的宇宙論) by <a href="/wiki/w%3Ac%3Avocaloid%3ANayutalieN" data-wiki-target="w:c:vocaloid:NayutalieN">NayutalieN</a> feat. Hatsune Miku.</p> <p>On 17 October, Inarizawa Kon did her last publicly available stream, a Craftopia game stream.</p>
Background
<p>On 12 July 2020, Connect teased the upcoming debuts of its first generation that same month.</p>
Disbanding
<p>On 21 October, Connect announced on Twitter that it would disband, with Tomomo Mimiko and Uten Hiyori continuing their activities as independent VTubers after receiving their character IPs.</p> <p>On 22 October, Connect tweeted a post-disbanding announcement, stating that Inarizawa Kon was found to have violated the terms of her character IP transfer, and that member information was implied to have been leaked as well. Her accounts have been suspended as a result. The next day on 23 October, Connect released more details, confirming that Kon had leaked internal information to specific viewers, constituting a breach of NDA. This effectively serves as a contract termination, and her IP will not be transferred to her.</p>

This can be used to distinguish it from similarly named but later Japanese VTuber-related brands like <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@CONNECT_V_" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CONNECT V</a>, a Virtual YouTuber talk program on YouTube or <a href="https://twitter.com/connect_vliver" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CONNECT</a> (こねくと), a VLiver agency established in 2024, whose talents stream exclusively on <a href="/wiki/IRIAM" data-wiki-target="IRIAM">IRIAM</a>.</p>
