On 25 May, NKshoujo revealed their first generation of talents and their debut schedule: Chion, Kouitu Sin, Cray, Myo Sotis, Kururun, Stella Eleanor and Kurogane Karasu. On 24 August, Black Box Theater's sole Generation 1 member, Hinokai, began twitter activities and posting videos on YouTube. On 15 October, Hinokai debut.

On 15 January, auditions looking for 2nd Generation Vtuber talents were opened to 20 February. On 1 April, a new Vtuber, Kokawa Nemuri, the first Generation 2 member was teased.
