MaHOROBA (まほろば) is a Japanese independent Virtual YouTuber & content creator group, and also formerly a VTuber agency. The agency was owned and operated by PRISMO Inc. from 2020 to 2023, after which MaHOROBA continued operating as an indie group.

<p>On 28 November, PRISMO Inc. launched MaHOROBA as a VTuber agency. The independent VTubers <a href="https://twitter.com/Nyako_Shofuku" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shofuku Nyako</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/Mendako_Vtuber" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mendako-chan</a> and <a href="https://www.twitter.com/_310_76_" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Satou Namu</a> joined the agency as MaHOROBA's starting lineup of talents dubbed "Generation 0".</p>
2021
<p>On 19 February, <a href="https://twitter.com/AkariKureha" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kureha Akari</a> made her debut.</p>
<p>On 20 February, <a href="/wiki/Nemori_Petty" data-wiki-target="Nemori Petty">Nemori Petty</a> made her debut.</p>
<p>On 21 February, <a href="https://twitter.com/sakurametemari" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sakurame Temari</a> made her debut.</p>
<p>On 3 July, <a href="https://twitter.com/NinaNatsuki" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Natsuki Nina</a> made her debut as the last member of MaHOROBA's Generation 1.</p>

<p>On 26 March, <a href="https://twitter.com/Hanaguni_Anne" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Hanaguni Anne</a> made her debut.</p>

<p>On 3 June, MaHOROBA announced that Kureha Akari would go into indefinite hiatus at the end of July, with her last stream scheduled on 30 June.</p>

2024
<p>On 21 January, <a href="/wiki/Oshitsuka_Myuna" data-wiki-target="Oshitsuka Myuna">Oshitsuka Myuna</a> made her debut, following an announcement by MaHOROBA the day before.</p>
<p>On 7 July, Satou Namu announced in a stream that she was stopping her activities as a MaHOROBA VTuber talent and transferring to MaHOROBA Creators, where she will be working as a non-VTuber content creator, effective on 22 July.</p>
<p>On 21 July, Satou Namu held her graduation stream, her last as a VTuber and on the next day changed her name on Twitter to "<a href="https://twitter.com/_541_76_" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Koyoi Namu</a>" (こよいなむ), as a MaHOROBA Creator.</p>
<p>On 7 October, Sorara Pyon held her last stream before going into indefinite hiatus.</p>
<p>On 12 October, <a href="https://twitter.com/SiraneIzu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shirane Izu</a> made her debut.</p>
<p>On 14 December, Natsuki Nina announced that she was ending her VTuber activities, shifting to working as a video creator while also changing her name to "<a href="https://twitter.com/nachamachama" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Nachama</a>" (なちゃま).</p>
2025
<p>On 15 February, Hanaguni Anne announced that she was retiring on 16 March.</p>
<p>On 16 March, Hanaguni Anne held her graduation stream and retired.</p>
<p>On 16 June, MaHOROBA announced that the independent VTubers <a href="https://twitter.com/Y_ghostDoll_" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Wasurenagusa Yume</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/KurenaiBear" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kurenai Bear</a> have joined the group, with both also holding their own announcement streams.</p>
<p>On 25 June, Nachama (formerly Natsuki Nina before her rebranding) returned to streaming as a VTuber and unprivated her archives.</p>
<p>On 29 June, MaHOROBA announced Sakuraya Pyume's departure from the group. She continues her activities as an unaffiliated independent.</p>
<p>On 2 July, Sorara Pyon returned to streaming, but as an unaffiliated independent VTuber. On the same day, she also officially announced her departure from the group.</p>
<p>On 5 October, MaHOROBA announced that the independent VTuber <a href="https://twitter.com/_Coco_Mo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Cocoa Moca</a> has joined the group.</p>
<p>On 29 November, MaHOROBA announced that the independent VTubers <a href="https://twitter.com/shiorin_fps" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Uki Shiori</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/Yutsuzu_Vtuber" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shunotsuchi Yutsuzu</a> have joined the group.</p>
Transition into indie group
<p>On 28 August, MaHOROBA announced that PRISMO Inc. was withdrawing from the VTuber business effective on 1 September 2023, upon which MaHOROBA will continue operations as an independent VTuber group, together with its remaining active members. However, the IP rights for Gen 1 members who went on hiatus remained with PRISMO Inc., so it will be difficult and unlikely for them to resume streaming under these identities.</p>
<p>On 29 August, MaHOROBA announced the upcoming debuts of two new members: <a href="https://twitter.com/sakuraya_pyume" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sakuraya Pyume</a> as a new MaHOROBA VTuber, and <a href="https://twitter.com/YOMOHIRAAA" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Yomohira</a> as a member of the "MaHOROBA Creators", a non-VTuber content creator.</p>
<p>On 1 September, Sakuraya Pyume made her debut.</p>
<p>On 6 October, MaHOROBA announced that Sakurame Temari would go into indefinite hiatus starting on 30 October.</p>
<p>In late November, Shofuku Nyako and Mendako-chan departed from the group and returned to being unaffiliated independent VTubers, starting in December.</p>
<p>On 16 December, MaHOROBA staff member <a href="/wiki/Isumi_Sia" data-wiki-target="Isumi Sia">Isumi Sia</a> made her debut as one of the group's VTuber talents.</p>
