2021
As previously announced, the AirAsia Office Virtual Idol Aozora Kurumi Fanart Contest started on Pixiv on 9 September and ended at 00:00 on 25 October.
On 21 November, Kurumi announced the list of the winners from the fanart contest.
On 29 November, Project Kavvaii opened a new VTuber audition. According to the announcement, the audition will end on 31 December.
2022
On 15 April, Kavvaii uploaded a teaser video introducing their new Generation "Lunetide."
On 19 April, Kavvaii two videos introducing the members of Lunetide: Airi Gwynevere and Mikazuki Mai. Their first Tweets were also their debut announcements.
2024
On 24 February, Kavvaii launched the webtoon Lunetide Bewitched featuring Airi Gwynevere and Mikazuki Mai on WEBTOON and Tapas.
On 29 February, Kavvaii announced the graduation of their remaining talents, Airi and Mai. They both will graduate on 31 March. They also stated that the reason of the graduation is that they are ceasing the talent development activities.
Background
Project Kavvaii was launched on 10 March 2021, putting out a call for auditions for its first VTuber. It was announced that the VTuber would be illustrated by Yueko and rigged by Iron Vertex. Auditions closed on 28 March.
Airasia's first VTuber Aozora Kurumi was announced on 3rd May and debuted five days later.
