On 13 December, Koyuki posted the idea that would become the agency, writing "I wanna create a vtuber agency and all the designs and models are done by me." On 17 December, Koyuki added that auditions were planned for both a male and a female first generation, and that the agency did not yet have a name.

On 19 August, VKYUZA released a voice reveal teaser for its first generation, "IRIS." The four members were introduced individually on the agency's Twitter account between 21 and 29 August. On 3 September, the agency published a debut PV announcing 12 September as the generation's debut date. On 12 September, all four members debuted in a relay of back-to-back streams on Twitch beginning at 5:00 PM PDT, in the order Ailee Kyu, Sirae Kyu, Ritsune Kyu and Vianna Kyu. Each member premiered an original solo music video during her stream. On 13 September, the agency uploaded the generation's group cover of "Everytime We Touch."
