In Future college, five girls with different personalities get together and try their best to reach their dreams of being idols.

2020

On 23 November, A-soul released its debut video on Bilibili and Tiktok.

On 12 February, their first single "Quiet" was dropped on Bilibili, Tiktok and Netease music.

On 11 December, A-SOUL made its debut stream on Bilibili/Tiktok.

2021

On 18 February, Diana reached 100,000 subscribers on her Bilibili channel.

2022

On 10 May, A-SOUL released an official statement on BiliBili stating that member Carol would end her daily live broadcasts and most of idol activities from the current week onwards due to health and personal reasons, and would enter a "hibernation" period, explaining that "hibernation" was not the same as retiring from A-SOUL. However, Carol never came out of this break, and is presumed retired due to controversies.

2024

On 19 April, Yuehua announced that it had acquired A-SOUL, including A-SOUL's members, technology, equipment, and more, at the price of RMB 30 million.

At some point in April, Ava ended her idol activities.

Bella

Bella is the leader and key dancer of the group. She is very strict about other members' dance skills.

Diana

Diana is the sweetie beloved by all group members. She wants to become an idol only to eat delicious food all over the world.

Eileen

Eileen is knowledgeable and working hard for law degrees.

Ava

Ava is the gamer of this group, a typical tsundere twintail girl.

Carol

Carol is a cool short-hair girl. Singer of the group.

Retirement of Carol

in May 2022, posts allegedly made by the person behind Carol began to be uncovered, with the posts implying that she (along with the other members) had been forced to perform for extremely long hours, causing injury, and had experienced harassment from their management. Fans were soon angered and demanded better care for A-SOUL members, and for the companies managing them to assume responsibility.
