Ahi: is the virtual track-making unit of Sakai Kotori and Sonozaki Nakura, both formerly with TOMATO GUMMY. They debuted on YouTube in September 2020 and focus on composition, arrangement, and mixing, with Kotori handling piano and arrangement and Nakura handling drums, mixing, and video production.

Background
Both Kotori and Nakura have been active as VTubers since the beginning of 2019. They are close friends who often did collaborations together throughout the year. On 25 April 2020, after announcing the release of their album in Kotori's stream, they formally named their duo "[ahí:]" with help from Kotori's viewers. The group only opened their own YouTube channel and Twitter account in August of the same year.
