On 10 April, she made the first livestream in which she used her main model with light blue hair. She made her first Bluesky post on the same day.

On 15 April, she began her "Daily check in" series of shorts.

On 23 April, she opened Discord server.

On 28 April, she began a hiatus from streaming, for mental health reasons.

On 5 May she released her first piano album, "anhedonia."

On 29 May, she made her last "Daily check in" post.

On 11 June, she posted her first "IT Fundamentals" video.

Retirement

Around 14 June, it was reported on her Discord that the talent behind Amia Custard had passed away. However, the veracity of this information was questioned when it was noticed that she was still moderating YouTube comments on her last video.

On 20 August, Amia Custard admitted in a YouTube post that she was still alive, and had in fact faked her own death. Additionally, she revealed that she was the same person as Amiaryllis Bloo, a VTuber with a long and storied history of faking her own death and establishing alternate identities as other VTubers. Amia's account establishment in March 2025 had also approximately coincided with the closure of Amiaryllis' original YouTube account.
