Alphie generally speaks in a calm dispassionate voice. He is often seen as calm and collected and sometimes tsundere to his viewers. However, when Alphie gets in intensive situations he can easily looses his cool and gets very passionate if using a shotgun or winning a game is at stake. Sometimes when the game gets very action-packed and he is on a winning streak, his eyes will turn red, indicating that Hal, his more maniacal alter ego, has taken over the gameplay, though a very short period of time.

Blue speaks in a energetic upbeat youthful voice, befitting his image of a young optimistic boy. His voice has been noted by fans to be especially reflecting a vulnerable, flustered and submissive image. However, in stark contrast to this image, Blue often in intensive situations looses his cool and gets very passionate if winning a game is at stake.

Clive generally speaks in a calm and confident voice.

Charlie generally speaks in a relaxed and caring voice. He is very soft spoken, and is also very sensitive. Due to his careful and gentle nature he does not appear very often in the channel, but when he does, he offers a very relaxed and wholesome stream.

Hal is very enigmatic, but often quiet and mysterious.

He has dark blue hair in a ponytail and dark skin with green eyes. He has a bandage over his nose and wears a blue unbuttoned shirt that has a white outline of a square with a face over a white one.

His YouTube channel was created on 1 May 2020, and his Twitter account was created in the same month. On 25 July 2020 he made his first Tweet.

On 2 September 2020, Aozora Mashimaro was introduced as a guest on a podcast hosted by Ishigami Shachi, streamed live on YouTube. The event showecase four pre-debut VTubers: Hanamiya Chii, moenaomii, Darling, and Aozora himself.

On 10 September, teaser suggested a debut in September 2020, Around 29 September the "Mashimaro Ch. Trailer" was posted. Content featuring the Aozora VTuber character would appear at least as early as December 2020, although without a formal debut stream.

2020

On 8 October, Aozora Mashimaro appeared in VRChat collab wit Yukke, featuring a custom 3D model.

On 31 October, he appeared in a Dead Space collab with Yukke.

On 8 December, he posted hist first TikTok.

2021

On 17 January, he first streamed the game Omori.

On 25 January, following a personal crisis, VTuber friend Yukke created a fundraiser to help Aozora leave his family home. It raised $12,400.

At some point after this, Aozora's artist came up with the idea of producing a VTuber avatar of Omori character Kel, based on a running joke on the Omori Discord of Kel as a gamer. The "Kel Gaming" model was created initially as a joke, but it was a massive success with viewers. Models would subsequently be made for other Omori characters: Sunny, who appeared in the Omori stream finale; Basil, who was envisioned as a player of comfy games; and Hero, who would play puzzle games.

On 20 March, Kel Gaming appeared in a TikTok.

On 22 March, he reached 2,000 YouTube subscribers.

On 15 April, he reached 5,000 YouTube subscribers.

On 20 April, he reported that he hd received a cease and desist order from OMOCAT, creator of the 2020 indie RPG Omori, for using VTuber models based on characters from the game. He resolved the issue by designing new original characters with similar personalities: Alphie (relacing Sunny), Charlie (replacing Basil), and Clive (replacing Hero), with his original character Aozora replacing Kel. He also stated that he suffered from disassociative identity disorder due to trauma, and that the four characters represented his alternate personalities.

On 23 April, he held a debut stream for Alphie.

On 24 May, his YouTube channel reached 8,000 subscribers. However, his channel growth slowed considerably after this.

On 5 June, his last TikTok was posted.

Around 7 June, Blue debuted on YouTube.

Around 14 June, Alphie received a new outfit.

At some point between 16 June and 22 July, his YouTube channel was rebranded to "Alphie & Friends" and his Twitter renamed to @AlphieNFriends. The name reflects the previous Omori group who were referred to as "Sunny and Friends."

Around 7 July, Clive made his debut stream.

On 24 September, he made his last known post to the YouTube channel.

By 22 October, his YouTube channel appears to have been deleted. His channel reached 8,770 subscribers at peak.
