Cahaya the Light

Cahaya is a Malaysian VTuber who tried out streaming in 2017, but did not do so as a VTuber until March 2023. She lived in the UK for 7 years before returning home to Malaysia in 2026 after completing her Masters degree in Spatial Design where she interviewed VTubers and talked about the virtual spaces created by streamers for their communities... online. She has interest in art, animation, and anything crafted with love and care! She also recommends not getting addicted to MOBAs like League of Legends or Pokemon Unite. Better to clean up digimon poop or play a pretty horror game. Cahaya moved back to Malaysia to be a full-time VTuber and caretaker for her aging grandmother and parents, but is also currently working to develop a stationery and homeware brand featuring local Malaysian Food & Fauna. Cahaya's motivations are to talk about cool things with her fanbase (the Spooners! Round little frog-like creatures), share fun times, make some people smile, and help people to sleep at night. She streams mostly late at night Malaysian time, so Spooners come from all over the world to see her. Show more
