Cala Marina is a fun-loving squid who enjoys spending time with her friends. Though she streams a variety of content, Cala is partial to horror games, art, and Beat Saber. She also loves the Grimace shake, and lotion. When she isn't trying to master the dark magic sealed within her amulet, she's often found working on her artwork. Cala is known for enjoying horror and occult content, while also enjoying things that are cute (though her definition of "cute" is subjective).
Appearance
Cala sports tanned skin, and long, light-pink tentacles in place of hair, characterized by two tentacle "hair buns". Aside from her sharp golden eyes, one of her most noticeable traits is her deep, inky-blue mouth and tongue.
Cala's outfit bears a blend of aquatic and gothic motifs, and its most striking detail is its long skirt, within which is a layer of shimmering blue bioluminescence. Golden accents are spread evenly across her clothing in the form of trim and accessories. These trademark accessories include her ship anchor earrings, the oversized fishing hook protruding through her skirt, and the magic-infused amulet hanging from her choker.

Cala Marina is the self-proclaimed meanest, evilest, and scariest vampire squib in the ocean. While she spends her time in the ocean, she hopes her streaming activities will allow her to spread her dark influence across the world, so that she may rule it.
Cala Marina is the founder of the VTuber activity "Ice Breakers", an indie VTuber collaboration project dedicated to "breaking the ice," in hopes of encouraging VTubers to meet and collaborate. The goal is to bridge that awkward gap by creating a safe and fun environment for everyone to interact with one another within a multiplayer game.
In addition to being the artist behind her own model, Cala has created many VTuber models via VGen commissions.
2023
During the last week of September, Cala had her first subathon, with the goal of raising money to fund the additional assets needed for her Live2D model debut.
Upon reflection of her personal preferences and comforts, Cala Marina made the decision to begin her streaming activities using her Live2D model on 14 October 2023.
