Carillus

Carillus goes about life with a mainly mellow vibe as he works on art pieces. He is not one to get into fights, preferring to be courteous and avoid conflicts with others, be they close friends or newcomers. He can become hyperfocused when working on an art piece during stream, but will still try to make time to converse with those around him if he feels the need to. While usually calm, he tends to end up being the butt of jokes among mutuals and will emote there and then. However, he can take a good jab on the chin and usually goes with the flow.

Cari's current attire resembles that of a pilot's uniform, with a simple white button-down shirt and dark shoulder lapels, paired with dark trousers and shoes. He also wears a dark tie with a bulky clip over the knot containing an embossed plane logo. His eyes are amber, and his hair has a orange-yellow coloration to it, with a single teal lock down the front. The pilot design was only made after his viewers commented on his voice resembling that of a pilot's.

His original (non-pilot) appearance was designed as a palette swap of his former doujin circle's mascot, and was "a throwaway design made for a friend (Caturteer) to practice Live2D rigging on". The original attire included a black collared shirt, a cerulean vest, navy blue pants and a semi-loose red tie. He also wore a red choker cloth and tall earrings.

A "scuffed" model was drawn and rigged by chroneco in early 2021. It consists of a plane with a face and a "wig" that sports Cari's color scheme. The plane also had "landing gears" in the form of stickmen-style feet.

Prior to the "ENVtuber pandemic boom of the 2020s", Carillus used a blue hedgehog with white racing stripes as his persona. The hedgehog still exists in his stream in the form of subscriber badges, and has made appearances on his webtoon ExCo and on Lorecrafters' social media.

In July 2025, Carillus announced his departure from Merryweather Media alongside Cazz/RAINA. The two also announced the establishment of Lorecrafters, their creative production studio focusing on narrative development projects.

• Carillus has a degree of aphantasia/hypophantasia; meaning that he is unable to visualize or "picture things in [my] mind's eye" unlike most artists.
• He single-handedly wrote and provided art for "Calli's Christmas Catastrophe" in Dec 2021 for Mori Calliope of hololive Myth.
• Carillus has also both written and provided art/storyboarding for various VTuber lore videos, including Girl dm, Ironmouse, Kson, Bunny GIF, Buffpup and AdmiralBahroo.
• He has spoken at various anime and manga art workshops and conventions in Southeast Asia, most recently at AFA Creators Super Fest 2023 as part of Merryweather Media.
• Carillus has also served as a judge on various art competitions in Singapore.
• For WEBTOON's 2020 Short Story Contest, Carillus co-created a 5-chapter mini-series titled "Grandma's Cake Recipe" with his partner Cazz. He provided the art and concept, with his partner writing the full script in (rhyming) limerick; it ended up winning a Bronze award.
• Before becoming an artist and director at Merryweather Media, Carillus was a civil engineer who wrote and drew webcomics on the side.
• He was formerly the leader of a doujin circle called FNP (FantasieNocturne Productions), which specialized in making original content as opposed to solely fan work.
