Chinatsu's YouTube channel was created on 1 May 2015. She created a Twitch account on 4 June 2020.

Chinatsu appears to have originally streamed as a VTuber on her own as far back as May 2021, when she reached 570 YouTube subscribers. The channel was originally just called "ちなつ" (Chinatsu). She streamed on Twitch at least as far back as 9 Jule 2021.

Due to a heart condition, Chinatsu's daughter Hina was unable to go outside and play with other children, due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19. She decided to begin streaming together with her. The two debuted as a parent/child VTuber duo on 16 July 2022, with a Fall Guys stream. Hina was five years old at the time.
