Her YouTube channel, initially known as "KawaJapa Cure Dolly," was created on 2 May 2017. Her first video was uploaded on the same day. The name KawaJapa stands for "Kawaii Japanese," and was billed as "The organic way to learn Japanese."

On 1 June, she posted her first video using a new 3D model, which she would use going forward.
2018
In April, the Cure Dolly Patreon page opened.
Retirement
On 15 May, the channel posted its last video, Cure Dolly Forced to Take a Break from YouTube. In it, she described her android body sufferin from malfunctions requiring repairs, understood to refer to her real-life health issues necessitating her hiatus from video production. Her main Patreon content was made open to the public, and continued to be updated. Cure Dolly continued to respond to comments until September.
On 8 October, it was reported that the creator behind Cure Dolly passed away.
The YouTube channel remained online and hte Patreon page remained open until early 2022. The KawaJapa website was re-named "Organic Japanese with Cure Dolly," and maintained by Cure Shisho and Cure Yasashiku, who made posts until 28 March 2022. Despite no longer producing new content, the Cure Dolly YouTube channel reached 50,000 subscribers by the end of 2023, and nearly 100,000 by August 2026.
