Fortune

Fortune is a very eccentric person who is often seen messing with fellow VTubers and having fun! He is usually kind, supportive, & understanding as shown when he frequently watches his fellow VTubers' streams and often goes out of his way to offer insight to his friends and artists. He was said to have helped troubleshoot some of the technical problems his associates were having and teach them different creative improvements before and during their journeys as VTubers which led to Fortune being very good at knowing the ins and outs of many programs. Fortune is also highly supportive towards VTubers and frequently comments in any ongoing streams whenever he has the time to do so.

Possibly his best-known joke is a mix between "your mom, and deez nuts" which he has admittedly said he picked up from hanging out with a certain "virtual back flipping cat girl". He frequently makes similar lewd remarks seemingly out of nowhere. It might seem that Fortune has no filter, but that isn't entirely accurate. He does have a filter, but most of the outrageous things that are caught in his filter end up being said out loud regardless.

Overall, his balanced chemistry of honesty and trolling makes him very lovable as noted by his fans and friends.

Fortune has short and messy dark-brown hair with grey highlighted bangs due to the infection causing some abnormality in hair pigmentation. His eyes are grey with gold diamond shaped pupils. He has three scars on his left cheek as well as one on his lower lip and right eye brow. He is also seen to be missing a small part of his left ear.

He uses a dark brown flag with his symbol on its back as a cloak and scarf, and golden hairpin representing a magnifying glass decorated with some gears. Fortune wears a white fitted shirt complemented with a brown and grey vest. He wears gold pinstriped off-grey pants where he carries a knife on his left leg that is able to administer cures or poisons for various reasons. On his vest he carries a special pocket watch that appears to be able to fluctuate reality. His dark brown boots also contain the same golden armor used in various other places on Fortune's body. Fortune also has viable infection spreading on his left arm but seems to have it contained.

On the 1st of August 2020, beginning the sudden boom and rising success of VTubers, Fortune discovered them in their infancy and quickly became attached to the entertaining culture. Formerly despising anime his opinion almost instantly did a 180.

When Fortune found out about VTubing he realized it was the perfect thing for him, With a natural affinity for video games he felt he was good at video games since he was previously in an esports group and thought he had an entertaining personality, He wasn't particularly skilled at singing or drawing but still tries to improve anyway. He was confident that he wanted to be a VTuber when he started meeting other supportive creators which propelled him to do things such as taking singing lessons. He took a long time to make sure his designs and ideas were properly prepared before deciding he was able to deliver the level of quality he expected from other creators in the space. Fortune had previously been studying acting & voice acting as backup careers.

Fortune celebrated his debut by watching the sunset over the ocean.

Fortune began training around October 2020, three years before his debut.

Fortune's YouTube channel and Twitter account were created on 16 November.

On 27 August 2023, Fortune was first revealed in a debut announcement teaser. A week later another announcement was made featuring the full model reveal, after which started a few promotional videos. His official first tweet was made soon after.

Fortune made his debut stream on 21 September 2023. He was the very first revolutionist VTuber to debut. Fortune had slept only a few hours in the 36 hours before his stream, having stayed up working on last minute improvements for his debut and to prepare content for the coming weeks. He intended to begin his debut by unveiling his lore through a cinematic video, but it was not completed on time. Fortune began with a theatrics tone before quickly being flustered (fans spoiling fortune with their support despite him not expecting anything too crazy happening). He introduced himself, from his own special book acting as a dossier. He concluded the debut stream with a surreal experience in which the viewer contracted the plague from a rat in the street resulting in bizarre auditory and visual hallucinations.

A few days later, Fortune played through his first gaming stream during which he played "Little Misfortune", Relating quite a bit to the main character.

• His mascot is Karma, a ghost wolf with a golden skeletal structure. Karma is based on his real life pet dog who Fortune grew up alongside and represents the balance of good & bad luck.
• Karma was originally designed by Cinnamon Sama.
• His fanbase is officially called "Fortune's Favored." It is a tie in to his lore and theme as a VTuber. However, Fortune leads a positive community, & he makes sure everyone in the community is taken care of and cared for in a peaceful environment.
• Rejected names for his fanbase include: Revolutionist, Rebels, and Fortunate sons (a reference to a popular American song).
• His YouTube and Twitch channel Members have three tiers: Fortune's Favor, Fortune's Favored, & Fortune's Favorite, and is represented by Karma which as the spirit of true balance offers them benefits.

• "Soy Gang," alongside Zytin, Phoenizx, and Yumekuki.

Since birth he only knew the chains that held him unknowing to how lucky he was to be able to continue day to day in the oppression brought upon the people by the Church and their King. With Sickness & Death looming behind every moment of daily life Hope was nothing more than a dream that could only be told in stories. These stories would make their way to this boy, between his Torment & unending labor, after Fights indulged by The Kings Pride, or even during the moments of starvation...

This Fortunate young soul decided that something needed to be done, Agony didn't have to be all there was. He gathered the lost & the willing to start something that was bigger than anything he could achieve alone. With this they made their last grasp at freedom to sacrifice everything for a chance to be more than nothing with only Fortune Guiding their way.

• Fortune is the Creator and Leader of the Revolution, He started the uprising against those who wish to suppress the less fortunate and through unity they achieved freedom from their monarch.** Fortune developed time travel. It was not documented what effect the original travel took on the world but some say it created a creature that phases in and out of reality and roams the city streets at night.
• Kaviix gifted Fortune his Key, This key was, according to Kaviix in one of their streams while designing his model. "The Key to my Heart" It's unknown what this refers too but it may be code for something.
• Fortune was trained by thieves and assassins, all of which succumbed to their own ways of life over time. But through this training Fortune has become very agile and able to defend himself and get around places he isn't supposed to be.
• You can't just be like Fortune. He's "Built Different".
• Fortune has a habit of taking a lots of time focusing on his projects making sure they are of quality before he releases them.

• He likes Traveling, Saying Random things, Singing, the color Silver (because it's shiny, it fits with everything, and it's money), Milkshakes, & French Food.
• He had three pets: a Miniture Pincher named "Venom," who his mascot his based off of; a black and white kitten named "Nightcrawler," who he had as a toddler; and a hermit crab named "Rikka," who he named after "Rikka Takanashi" one of his favorite anime characters. He has also had a 5-gallon fish tank where he had a few fish.

• Fortune's favorite game is a Western Open World title Red Dead Redemption 2. He first played it on stream for his birthday celebration.
• The videogame he doesn't like to play the most is Valorant, even outside streams.
• Fortune's favorite anime include Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Your name, Love, chunibyo & other delusions, Toradora, Sora no method, and A Silent Voice. he also added to that list I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, and My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu, and was watching Wataten and Weathering with You.
• His favorite manga are Magical Senpai, Darling in the Franxx, We Never Learn, The Detective is already dead, Patema, and Girls' Last Tour.
• On occasion, Fortune will display his love of Science by talking about his knowledge of Quantum Physics & Chemical Reactions, including random obscure trivia and methods about Time and Space.
• He dislikes a dirty room, Ice scratching noises, Being unproductive, wearing clothes to sleep, Condiments, and Hot stuff. Later Fortune also revealed that he doesn't like soda, as it hurts his throat.
• His goals are reaching 100,000 subscribers, Meet more VTubers, improve his Japanese, debut a 3D model, and make his own song.
• Fortune doesn't like cats much. "Dogs are just better, I don't hate cats but they aren't as loyal as dogs in my experience."

• He sometimes hiccups during streams. This is caused by swallowing a lot of air, causing what are technically burps, which he makes sound like hiccups.
• His birthday, 20 April is sometimes on Easter Sunday. This has lead to Fortune celebrating his birthday on both Easter and 20 April.
• He is the very first VTuber to be a "Revolutionist" pioneering the theme for VTubers to come.
• Prior to his debut, there was much speculation as to whether Fortune was a Time traveler or if he was just steampunk. Fortune decided why just pick one and decided to implement both aspects into his lore. Furthering his community's ideas to make them a reality.
• Fortune has an older sister, who he frequently receives advice and support from. As he also returns this kindness and is like an older brother to her as well.
• He also has a little brother, who mostly plays ROBLOX and Minecraft with a computer he built for him using old parts along with paint. When he got him Fortnite cards and money for Christmas, he spent the money on more Fortnite cards.
• He can play the ukulele, violin, and drums. He hopes to learn the guitar
• In his debut stream, Fortune gave his height as 179cm, or 5'10" "in freedom units," or about 102.427 Oreos. However, 179cm is actually equivalent to 5'11". According to Cookie Length Convertor, which takes the length of a Oreo as 1.75 inches, 102.427 Oreos is indeed equal to 180 cm.
• Fortune's profile on the various wiki websites correctly listed his height as 179cm. Fortune joked "I'm 5'10" but my Money makes me 6'9"."
• Fortune invented a cocktail known as "The Fortunate Spirit", consisting of: Coconut Ramune, Vanilla Rum, a scoop of Ice cream, and Whipped Cream with a Cinnamon Sugar Rim. He invented it on New Years 2022 when he wanted a drink that actually tasted good. Fortune had to dilute the mix with a dash of Milk, resulting in a delicious drink where Fortune couldn't taste the alcohol.
• Fortune is not prone to spicy stuff. Saying Takis are too much for him.
• He is the first VTuber with the hair style he has on his character model.
• Fortune drew some of the original concept art for the designs of his models and characters, guiding his artists to achieve his visions.
• In August 2023, Fortune revealed that he had a new manager of his own, nicknamed Teafiee.

• Fortune once held a collab with himself by using his Live2D model and Live2D Smol Fortune at the same time.
• Fortune designed the storyboard of his Strong Wind Cover Music Video.
• Fortune designed a Creative and Immersive Lore experience during his Debut Stream.
• Fortune often uses interesting stream interlude graphics which feature clever references:
• Gold Diamonds often appears as a motif in Fortune's art. This references the wealth theme his name represents. This gives more of a visual representation to allow viewers to more easily connect His name to his design.
• One stream graphic depicts Fortune as a detective with a giant magnifying glass. This references Merpperoni's suggestion that it would be cute and funny to poke fun at the 8 inch tentacle he received from the bot.
• Another depicts Fortune spinning his fingers in a circle. This references a scene from the anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, in which Rikka Takanashi similarly spins her fingers in a circle.
