A run-away Taotie from the Shanhai world because of war. Harbouring hatred towards the mankind, the Taotie was ironically rescued by an old hunter at the brink of their collapse. Adopted by the old hunter, Han was taught ways to survive in the human world. The old hunter never treated the Taotie as a monster or an ill omen, but rather simply, a "living being", and thus should be treated equally by another one. Years later, the old hunter departed. To honour the hunter's last wish, and to learn more about what it takes to be a "human", a "monster", and a "living being", they left the mountain, and set foot in the world of humans. Soon after that, The Shanghai Grand Eatery opened, offering food and a place to rest for everyone, regardless it's human, yaoguai, or anything in between.
