Kettletoro is mostly sweet and kind, but she is not afraid to show her “sussy,” “cultured,” and a bit cruel side, which strengthens the light-hearted bond between her and the viewers. She sometimes makes silly challenges for herself and stays committed to it. The most famous examples are the no map challenge (a challenge where she does not unlock Statues of The Seven and goes around the map essentially blindly), which she was doing since the release of Inazuma Region (hence, she had the nickname “map-sochist”), until she decided to stop and unlock Fontaine and explore 100% of its territory in one stream, as well as leveling up to level 90 and “triple-crowning” Aloy, arguably the worst character in the entirety of Genshin Impact (as an milestone on her charity stream), and even attempting to clear Spiral Abyss with 36 stars with Aloy (which she failed, and, as a punishment, did 100 pulls, and added 1 more Welkin Moon to a giveaway).

Kettle also has (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), which is why she can easily get distracted and frequently forgets the thing she said and/or had on her mind just 5 seconds ago. During streams she occasionally says "Wait, what I was going to do?" or something similar along those lines. She also gets lost and disoriented very easily, so guiding her is quite a challenge.

Kettle is wearing an oversize red cropped jacket, with a white corset-styled crop top with crossed black straps, with a small chili charm right under it. The red jacket is lowered to expose her shoulders, as well as the tattoo of a flaming chili outline on her right shoulder. On her neck is a black choker (that looks like a belt) with a flame charm. Also she is wearing a black mini-skirt (strapped to the top on the sides), with a white panel covered by corset-styled straps over the white portion on the front right side of the skirt. The skirt is tied with a thin red belt, with a small chain with chili and flame decorations connected to the buckle, and with a red harness strap (which leads to a teabag-sized pouch of a spicy powder of unknown origin, with a chili tag stringed to said pouch) attached to the skirt's loops for the belt. Her right leg is bare with a red leg warmer on her calf, and her left leg has a thigh-high black stocking that's being attached to the skirt with a black suspender, and a strap that wraps around her thigh.

Remember: Kettle is a spicy red panda girl, not a raccoon girl (despite red pandas being related to raccoons). She has a very long hair, pink on the outside and white on the inside, going down to her knees, with twin tails (separated by a black strap) going a bit up, then bending downwards, ending at about fingertip level. The front part of her hair has 2 patches of hair on either side, that give an outline of where does her face go, 2 black hair pins on the right, a hair clip with a chili contour above her left eye, and a full chili hair clip above her right eye. Her ears are white, with black insides, and a small chili charm hanging from the edge of her left ear (which is almost always flopped down). Her eyes are jade green, with ever-burning flame pupils. Kettle also has a very long and very fluffy tail, with most of it being pink, and a white end that's decorated with few chili-themed charms, and 2 straps (black, and red with a bow tie) wrapped around the place where pink fur of the tail becomes white.

• Her name consists of 2 parts: "kettle", her actual nickname, and "toro". “Toro” comes from 2 things: Totoro from the movie ', and the Japanese word とろ (toro), which means “tuna” (or, as Kettle said in both of her debuts, “fatty tuna”). The reason why she added the "toro" part to her name is so that it would be easier for people to search for her, and not get pictures of electric and stove-top kettles.
• Her 3D debut happened on 21 May 2022, 4 days after the announcement (or, technically speaking, 7). She did not prepare for it until the last moment. She called her debut "the thing'''", because she was too scared to properly call it a debut.
• Her 3D model is a Frankenstein: she and her friend made this model from bits and pieces of other models in VRChat, and then Kettle turned it into a VTuber model for VSeeFace (the software she used for her 3D model).
• The breed of her kitsune form is a mix between a fox/kitsune and trash.
• In her 1.0 2D debut stream, she said that one of her goals is to become a Top 500 player in Overwatch.
• Kettle accidentally "leaked" her 2.0 2D model twice: one (on 27 February 2026) was when she started the stream and accidentally switched to her new model shortly after, and two (on 31 March 2026, didn't even make it to 1 April) was when she accidentally started her stream while recording her model's movements for her aforementioned teaser.

• Even though her full name is "kettletoro," she prefers being called just "kettle", because hearing the letter T in her name being pronounced very clearly (like in British or Singaporean accents) is sort of a pet peeve of hers, apparently.

• Kettle simps for Shylily. * Kettle has stated multiple times that she is straight. * Her favorite Genshin ship is "ChiLumi" (Childe x Lumine). * In Honkai: Star Rail, her favorite characters are Kafka (she was simping for her), Sushang (mainly because of the giant chicken Sushang summons when performing her Ultimate), Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Firefly (after the main story line in Penacony), Cyrene (after the main story line in Amphoreus, as well as "pink girl affinity"), Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae, and the Abundant Ebon Deer. ** Kettle really loves the way Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae does his fully enhanced attack, specifically the way he "effortlessly lifts his fingers" while doing this attack. Kettle is ecstatic every time she sees "the finger". * She used to be a fan of Marvel movies. * Kettle's ADHD is the one with dominant attention deficit. * Her model's canon height is 153 cm (5 ft), but she once went to a policlinic to check her height, was told that she is 155.9 cm (around 5 ft 1.5 in), and started bragging about her height gain. But every Teabag knows that she will always be 153 cm tall, no matter how tall will she be in real life. ** Even though Kettle claims to never have been the shortest person in her class in school, she was so short that some guys used her as an armrest. * Kettle has been learning Mandarin Chinese for more than 16 years. She can understand it just fine, but when speaking, her intonations are incorrect (according to her words), because she had not used Mandarin for quite some time. Because of this, sometimes she also struggles with reading Mandarin Chinese. * Kettle is very reluctant with mentioning her location, so whenever someone asks her "where are you from?", she almost always says that she is from the planet Mars. ** However, in her video about Zibai, a Genshin Impact character that was released on Chinese New Year 2026, Kettle somewhat indirectly revealed that she is from Singapore. * She was a featured guest in Tectone's podcast Gacha Cast #3. ** Kettle got invited to this podcast by Tectone after he found her YouTube Shorts, and said on stream that he was really excited to invite her into his podcast. * She used to work in Starbucks, but not for very long, because she frequently forgot who ordered which drink and was overall pretty bad at making drinks. * Kettle has been playing Genshin almost since a couple of weeks after the release day, but throughout all this time, she had no idea that the up/down arrows shown above/below the minimap icons indicate whether that spot is above/below the player. * Her favorite TV show series from childhood has been ''''. One time, at a very young age, she wanted to make a summary of the show's episode on Wikipedia, but got banned from Wikipedia mid-writing. * Kettle was inspired to become a YouTuber by LazarBeam, back when Fortnite was very mainstream. * Her fan base is called “Teabags,” but before adopting this name, Kettle had other options, such as “Teacups,” “Step-cups,” and “Step-teabags”. * Fellow Genshin YouTuber DaddyWohn made a YouTube Shorts video where he introduced Torokettle, a parody character on Kettletoro, which soon became Kettle’s arch-nemesis (the video was deleted as of March 2023). * Fellow Genshin YouTuber yejisaurex made a couple of YouTube Shorts videos, where he mentioned that Kettle has “C6 brain damage” and C6 Qiqi (which is essentially implying that Kettle has a stack of C6 brain damage after getting C6 Qiqi). ** Eventually, Kettle did get C6 Qiqi. She refused to turn her Qiqi from C5 to C6 for a while, but she did make it a milestone redemption on the charity stream for American Heart Association. * The official Twitch channel for the American Heart Association (AHA) once randomly came across Kettle's stream. Their first messages were "hmmmm", "your title....", "i have a question", and "what is... buttholeland?", because Kettle included "BUTTHOLELAND" in her stream titles, as a soundalike to "Bottleland," an area from the main event of Genshin v3.8. ** On 21 September 2023, she did a fully fledged charity stream for AHA. It was a very eventful stream, to say the least. *** This stream was the first time in her life where she got legitimately drunk, because she drank 8 full shots of gin, live on stream, as a charity redemption (and she also drank cider in between some shots), and she was total bonkers for the rest of the stream. Being drunk also somehow improved her skills in speaking Mandarin Chinese, despite barely remembering it. *** During the AHA charity stream, in the introductory slideshow for AHA, she mentioned that her grandmother is still alive thanks to a pacemaker — a device invented by AHA — being "shoved up her grandmother's heart" (this description was approved by AHA themselves live on stream). * Kettle is a proud (and great) Mercy main in Overwatch. * When she was younger, she used to play the drums. She also knows how to play the ukulele. * She has an extremely poor sense of direction, which is why she plays with rotating mini-map (if such option is given), and she even managed to get lost in Phasmophobia. * She does not like playing horror games, with an exception of Dead by Daylight, though she has no issues with watching other people play horror games. * Ever since the start of January 2023, an unknown viewer (still unknown as of April 2026) has been topping up for Kettle with bundles of 8080 genesis crystals (Genshin Impact)/oneiric shards (Honkai: Star Rail)/monochromes (Zenless Zone Zero) — which cost 100 USD for one bundle — in almost every stream. Kettle gave them a nickname "Jifter", a twist on the word "gift" with J being heavily inspired by the famous misspeak during the announcement of Genshin as the "Best Mobile Game" on The Game Awards 2021. ** Sometimes these "jifts" go a little out of hand, by either getting "8080'd" in all three games each (in the same stream), or by getting "jifted" back to back not twice, but even thrice at a time (which happened on two separate occasions), or even by unlocking every award in Honkai: Star Rail 's spending event at once by getting "jifted" (which also happened two times). ** A friend of Kettle's, and a fellow Genshin YouTuber BranOnline took notice of the amount of genesis crystals Kettle had in Genshin, and was visibly bewildered and flabbergasted. ** Since 21 March 2025, as a token of appreciation and gratitude to Jifter, especially after getting "jifted" live yet again, Kettle says "thank you" in various languages of planet Earth (ranging from well-known ones like Japanese, Arabic, Russian, and Spanish, to various lesser known or minority languages, like Albanian, Xhosa (from South Africa), Tamil (from India), and Hiligaynon (from Philippines)). * She made a YouTube Shorts video about Enka.Network, and soon after, she got featured on the site’s home page, and her Genshin UID was featured as an example. * In early February 2023, she got a brown, toy miniature poodle, named Bond (like James Bond, or Bond Forger from Spy x Family). ** When Kettle was first thinking of a name for her future dog, her aunt suggested the name “Koochie.” ** She also used Bond to pull for Dehya, and got her. * In late September 2022, Kettle did a series of charity streams for PancONE (a pancreatic cancer research organization), where she upgraded Aloy to level 90 and "triple-crowned" her as well (though initially, Aloy was only supposed to be "double-crowned"). * Despite doing a no map challenge for Inazuma and Sumeru, she decided to do the complete opposite of no map challenge — 100% exploration of the newly released regions of Fontaine and getting every Hydroculus in one stream, just because she thought it would be a really funny and stupid idea. Kettle got her exploration progress to 100% in the Court of Fontaine, Beryl, and Belleau Regions, which took her roughly 14 hours. In a later stream, she fully explored the Liffey and Fontaine Research Institute Regions in 10.5 hours. * Kettle did an Overwatch 2 collab with Nalithea on 14 December 2022. At some point, Nalithea needed to pee, which led to Kettle saying the now-famous quote “Enjoy your pee!”. According to her, that might've been most embarrassing thing she has ever said in her entire life. Later, she unironically said it again, but this time, it was to her good friend AGhostyVT on 30 July 2023, in their collab segment of Ghosty's donothon.
