Lore (WIP)
Have you ever wondered where Cheshire cats go when they disappear? I bet you thought they just... went invisible, staying right where you had last seen them. The truth is when a Cheshire cat disappears even for a moment, they go someplace else. A different realm. They move freely between them. I suppose I should say "we" considering I am one.
We --Cheshire cats I mean-- are curious, mischievous creatures. Tricksters. Sinful little things. Often pushing you to make the choices you shouldn't. And now that we're discussing what we ARE, I should also mention that Cheshire cats... we're not supposed to die. But somehow, I did. Sort of anyway.
I slipped into a reality I wasn't meant to; an empty, cold void. A place of death that I would call Hell. When I returned... I was different. My fur was gone, replaced by flesh, and I had grown horns. I wasn't the same creature anymore; I was something new. But I didn't come out alone. Something had attached itself to me, Whispurr, my new, loyal shadow. Not much else has changed. I was still able to drift between realms... and after a while, I found an empty one of my own to call home. I named it Nocturnia. But you know what they say, "a Cheshire cat can't completely change its stripes".
On my many trips through realms, I came across a VERY interesting place, Earth. The people there? They're just as sinful as I am! Especially when I influence them to be. Who knows? Maybe Nocturnia won't always be empty for long...
