Lore
66 million years ago, the meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs brought with it a virus that evolved alongside life on Earth. Those whose lineage has not developed the necessary antibodies mutate into deformed and savage beasts. At the far reaches of the universe, an advanced civilization dedicated to the preservation of species developed a... vaccine and sent it to Earth to eradicate the virus.
When the vaccine, known as “Kyoun,” reached Earth, gravity distorted it into a small slime, so it needs to fuse its DNA with that of a human to regain its form, giving rise to the “Kiyohara System,” which will be responsible for curing the infected.
