Li Cing

I am a five-year-old polar bear who lives in the northernmost part of the Earth, a very cold place filled with huge chunks of ice where everyone is covered in fluffy fur.

My life was filled with love. Everyone in the Arctic village treated me very well, and I was very happy and grateful for those precious days.

But one day, a panda wearing a... polar bear pelt came to our village. He told us that because of global warming, everyone in the Arctic village would become extinct before long, and that we needed to escape to another world with huge chunks of ice.

I really didn’t want to leave...

Three years after leaving the Arctic, I learned all kinds of amazing magic from the big panda.

He often took me back to Earth to see what humans were up to.

I discovered that humans cry a lot. They shed so many tears and get angry or upset very easily.

Whenever I couldn’t bear to watch anymore, I would secretly sing beside them.

The panda said that the magic in my singing was the most powerful of all, like a gift from the heavens that could heal people’s hearts.

So, as I kept singing, it gradually became part of my everyday life.

I’m a polar bear who sings pretty well.
I’m silly, fun, and a little ridiculous.
