Once she got enough intel, Lily escaped safely and planned her attack on the castle. However, the mages predicted this and had some tricks up their sleeve to counter Lily’s attack completely. Lily was defeated for the first time and gravely injured. All the remaining soldiers sacrificed themselves to buy time for her to escape throughout the forest. Because she lost too much blood, she fell down by the giant tree in the middle of the forest and couldn’t continue her escape. At the brink of her death, Lily suddenly remembers about the forbidden magic before she slowly loses consciousness.
