Lore
The once silent Luo City was engulfed in flames, chaos spreading everywhere as people ran in terror, their screams echoing through the night. Amid the chaos, a child clutched their beloved toy panda and ran frantically through the streets. Suddenly, a towering soldier appeared behind them, slashing mercilessly with a blade. The child fell, a deep wound on their back bleeding profusely.
Despite the unbearable pain, the child crawled desperately on the ground, but the soldier showed no mercy. With a powerful kick, he sent the child crashing into a nearby wall, the force causing the toy panda to tumble from the child's arms. Determined to hold on to their cherished toy even in death, the child stretched out a hand to grasp its foot. The soldier, seeing the child's struggle, grabbed the toy and cruelly delivered another kick, sending the child flying into the wall again. This time, the toy's foot was torn off in the process, as the child's tight grip held firm.
The child glared at the soldier with hatred but could do nothing. Finally, the soldier delivered a fatal blow, ending the child's life. Perhaps out of sheer resentment or because of unresolved wishes in life, the child’s lingering fury and pain began to gather in the blood-soaked panda toy. The blood from the child’s lifeless body was completely absorbed into the toy. Not long after, the toy began to move, and a tangible spirit formed within it.
"Who am I?" the spirit murmured, wandering through the now-abandoned city. As it touched each object, visions of the city's past—its memories and stories—flooded its mind. Day after day, the spirit roamed, absorbing these forgotten recollections. With each memory, it grew more confused about its own existence. What was it? Who was it?
As time passed, the spirit witnessed everything about the city—the glory of its civilization, the wisdom of its people, its prosperity, and its eventual destruction. Overwhelmed by the weight of these memories, the spirit decided to leave the desolate city and venture into the outside world, searching for the meaning of its own existence.
