Profile
Anzu is a girl born into the Mafuyu family, from a race of black magic wielding dwarves. Her grandmother guided her down the path of black magic, and apart from this she also found herself immersed in games with guns.
2020
On 19 June, Mafuyu Anzu debuted as part of Busokanojo.
On 21 September, Busokanojo announced that it would be dissolving and operations will be shut down at the end of September due to financial problems.
On 27 September, the remaining members of Busokanojo including Anzu held their agency graduation collab stream on Otonashi Tsubaki's channel. The unit officially disbanded on 30 September, and on 1 October she became an independent VTuber.
On 3 December, she unveiled a new costume.
Retirement
In February, she stopped updating her Twitter account, and at some point after, her YouTube channel's archives were also made private and her Twitter account was deleted.
2025
In late 2025, the talent behind Anzu made a YouTube Community Post after roughly 2 years of silence, explaining that she found it too painful to say goodbye to her fans, so she just stopped without saying anything. She acknowledges that it took her a long time to reach out again, and confirmed that she is retired as Mafuyu Anzu; but she has also started activities again under a new identity, "Blueberry Anko" (ぶるべりあんこ), linking her new Twitch channel at the end of the post.

- On 9 January 2021, Anzu participated in the Senno Inori Cup (せんのいのり杯) Apex Legends tournament as part of team "Yunzu-ku" (ゆんずーく) along with Shikai Yue and Setsuna Sieg. The team took 1st place in the overall ranking, winning the tournament.
- On 8 May 2021, she participated in the Senno Inori Cup S2 (せんのいのり杯S2) Apex tournament, reforming team Yunzu-ku with Shikai Yue and Setsuna Sieg. The team took a runner-up finish.
