MALWXRE - THE REEF VIRUS
Deep beneath the waters of the Great Barrier Reef lives Malwxre, a Filipino-Australian shark with a secret that goes far deeper than the ocean.
Malwxre isn't an ordinary shark.
They are part Megalodon and part Siren, born from an ancient lineage that was thought to have disappeared long ago. Their shark side gives... them the instincts and strength of one of the ocean's most legendary predators, while their Siren side connects them to the mysterious songs and strange magic of the deep.
For years, Malwxre lived peacefully among the reefs, keeping their unusual heritage hidden.
That was until they discovered something that definitely did not belong in the Great Barrier Reef.
An abandoned computer.
Somehow, the ancient machine was still running — powered by an outdated operating system and filled with strange files from the early 2000s.
Naturally, Malwxre touched it.
Big mistake.
A forgotten computer virus escaped from the machine and infected Malwxre. But instead of destroying them, the virus merged with their Siren magic and Megalodon DNA.
The result?
Malwxre.exe.
Now they're a living combination of shark, Siren, Megalodon, and computer virus.
Their body exists between the physical ocean and the digital world, allowing them to glitch between reality and cyberspace. They can swim through the Great Barrier Reef one moment and somehow appear inside an ancient computer the next.
There's just one problem.
The virus seems to have permanently trapped part of Malwxre's mind in the 2000s.
They remember old websites, ancient computer technology, forgotten internet culture, chunky electronics, weird sounds, and everything else from an era that should have been left behind.
Despite being an ancient ocean creature, Malwxre somehow became a 2000s internet kid.
Nobody knows whether the virus is slowly changing them...
Or whether Malwxre is slowly changing the virus.
Either way, they're still swimming around the Great Barrier Reef, making art, playing games, causing digital chaos, and occasionally wondering why their computer keeps saying:
