Marien

She barely ever speaks about herself, rather she listens gently to her customer's stories, where they came from, how they passed, and their plans now that they know what is beyond the Living World.

Don't let her horns and head-wings fool you, Marien is gentle and kind, especially when serving her customer's coffee. She can be a bit loud and obnoxious when the mood strikes her, however she's usually quite calm.

Marien's coffee is in a world where just about anyone can appear at her counter, she never excludes anyone, and has on rare occasion allowed drinks to terrible sinners who even the worst of the worst wouldn't allow into her shop. Those who have talked to her say she is always respectful and thoughtful.

Marien's voice can be a bit piercing at times, but is usually quite easy to listen to (don't tell her I said that).

She is most certainly NOT a morning person. It takes Marien a long time to get up in the morning, and even with all the coffee she ingests, it still takes a while. The lesson to be imparted is never to bother her in the morning - "wait until after lunch time, at best, and then we'll see how things go from there" is a general rule of thumb.

Unfortunately Genshin is not a personality trait...

As a member of the Demon clan, Marien has 2 separate sets of black horns on her head. The outer set, closer to her temples are large, thick, and heavy. They curve inwards and finally upwards. The second set are in-between the larger horns, and are much smaller. Finally she also sports small bat wings on the outside of her larger horns (not pictured in the current profile picture).

She has long white hair which reaches all the way to the base of her ribcage, and white eye brows as well. Her eyes are a sterling ruby color, and despite the controversy over the color, they can actually change a bit depending on her emotional state (although this fact is not generally seen in her model). The pupils of her eyes are also in the form of a "demon" or "cat" slit, and should never be depicted in any other way - otherwise it is blasphemy

And with pale skin, elf ears, speckled freckles, small lips, and a beauty mark under her right eye, she strikes quite a beautiful picture in the underworld.

Marien describes her own attire as "semi risky", and basically only wears clothing which shows at least a bit of skin. (Most official, and fanart of her will show this, as it's part of the character sheet descriptions she has laid out for artists to follow.)

• Marien has a lot of fan art, which should be posted on here if anyone cares to update this page. She is not an artist herself, but she is fairly closely connected with the art community on Twitter and generally gets fanart once a week. She also buys commissioned work from time to time, so be on the look out for more Marien art! (especially from her official artists, they are all wonderfully skilled)

• Marien was born on November 12, 823 B.C.E, and has lived a comfortable 2,016 years. Originally born in the Living World, she has since moved to the First Ring of Hell, however she has stated that she refuses to tell when exactly, or why the move occurred. It is widely speculated that it had something to do with her dream to open a coffee shop, but others contend, perhaps there were more sinister reasons (however nothing can be proved because she never talks about herself).
• The First Circle of Hell is where the living and the dead mutually live. Those who dwell among the living come for super natural reasons, and the dead who are not ready to descend deeper stay until they have come to terms with their fates'. This is where you can find her, the coffee in the First Circle of Hell, behind her counter watching over people's last moments in the mortal world, and serving them drinks. Maybe have come and gone in her life, but they always seem to appreciate a familiar cup of coffee before their time runs out. Some don't know what they'll do, and others have far fetched plans, dreams full of fantasy, she at least gives them credit for their enthusiasm...
• At some point after that she decided to become a VTuber and streams with her questionable microphone and equally questionable PC.
