MaScottBun is a white rabbit. He sometimes wears round, black glasses and a dark baseball cap with a carrot emblem on it.

His appearance changes, such as becoming a sheet ghost rabbit during Halloween streams. He is sometimes portrayed as a non-anthropomorphic rabbit in promo teasers. He also has a blue nightcap with white trim and a black bowtie.

While playing a Zelda game, he often wears a scabbard with a Zelda-inspired sword and green hat. Additionally, there is artwork of him is swimwear.

His character models are 3D and includes arm and leg rigging. The models also included expression changes.

MaScottBun's Twitch account was created on 5 November 2015. Aside from a short stream on 19 December 2018, he would otherwise not stream until his VTuber debut in 2020. His Twitter account was opened in June 2020, and first posted on 8 July, when he made a surprise Twitch debut. His debut stream ran for three hours and reached 7 viewers at peak.
