Mika is a yokai. An Oni to be specific while also being a kunoichi as well. Her horns being her main oni feature while her clothing is mostly themed around kunoichi-vibes. She also has her fair share of ninja tools on hand, including her chained kunai.

Skilled in the shinobi arts, she took on the most dangerous of missions during her prime. An unknown force ended up sucking the kunoichi from her timeline, bringing her at odds with an Eldritch Being, with allies she didn't understand at all, only for her to be sucked into an unfamiliar time once more. Though Earth looked familiar, it wasn't how she remembered it. She wasn't against such a thing though. Her ninja tools being packed away and traded for a more casual lifestyle that included a PC and her blue gaming controller. Though her roommate? The previous Eldritch Being that is now just a taller human. Her new partner in crime!
