Mintmai is bubbly and talkative. She loves having dedicated time to just chat at the beginning and end of each of her streams, regardless of the day. Sometimes she is so engrossed in engaging chats with her community that she doesn't even get to the main activity of the stream until an hour in.
Despite being introverted by nature, she loves to talk deeply about her interests, including manga, anime, games, fashion, art, and more. During gaming streams, she finds fun in voice acting the characters and always enjoys giving commentary throughout her playthroughs. Sometimes she puts on a purposely very deep voice, dubbed "Ikemint" by her community. She has never formally taken singing lessons, but loves to sing.
Appearance
Mintmai has black hair and eyes, a heart shaped ahoge on top of her head, and mochi donut inspired loop braids. She has a bunny hair accessory shaped like a Flour Friend, her community mascot. She also has melonpan and baguette hairclips, and a bread beret. Her dress is a yellow-orange ombre hue, with puffy sleeves and a pretzel motif on her chest. She weasrs a white, frilly maid apron over it with heart shaped pockets inspired by palmier cookies. There are asymmetrical legwarmers on her legs, as well as a leg garter with a heart shaped metal accessory. Her shoes are inspired by bread loafs, and her whole outfit features multiple bows.
She would later go on to debut many outfits, expanding her wardrobe to over 6 outfits in a little over 2 years of her activities. Many of these outfits have interchangeable toggles for accessories and hairstyles, and she likes to share her passion for fashion through her different styles.
One consistent rule with each of Mintmai's canon outfits is this: each outfit must have at least 1 Flour Friend motif and 1 pretzel motif ingrained into the design.

On 18 January, Mintmai reached 100 Twitch followers.
On 18 February, Mintmai debuted a chibi model, her first Live2D model.
On 26 April, she held a "12 hour stream" to celebrate her birthday, which ended up lasting a little over 13 hours. She also released her first song cover of "Cupid" by Fifty Fifty.
On 24 June, Mintmai debuted her fullbody Live2D model. During the debut, she played through a visual novel sharing her lore, which featured a self-written script and sprites drawn by Mintmai. Following this, she hosted her very first donothon which lasted 5 days, from June 24 to June 28. During this time, she reached 1000 Twitch followers. She also adopted her cat the same week, who she nicknamed Pretzel.
On 4 November, Mintmai debuted her casual outfit for her first anniversary. As part of her anniversary celebration, she also released her first line of merchandise, announcing the opening of a self-run online store.
On 22 December, Mintmai hosted a holiday party stream, beginning an annual tradition of creating a community decorated holiday tree, where the Flour Friends submit various images and memes to act as ornaments.
2024
On 7 January, in Mintmai's first stream of the year, she reviewed 2023 and created goals for 2024.
On 1 April, for April Fool's Day, Mintmai released a "scuffed" model that she rigged herself, with model illustration instead drawn by her actual rig artist Mochi, dubbed "ScuffMint."
On 27 April, Mintmai debuted her maid cafe outfit to celebrate her birthday.
On 28 June, Mintmai released her first vlog after visiting Offkai 2024, documenting her first VTuber Convention experience.
On 19 July, Mintmai released her second vlog about her attendance of Anime Expo 2024 and Hololive Night at Dodger's Stadium.
On 7 September, Mintmai debuted her winter flour outfit. This debut kicked off her second donothon, which ran for 15 days, from September 7 to September 23.
On 8 September, Mintmai learned from Flour Friends that butter was made from dairy and not cow fat (tallow). This event later become her most viewed YouTube Short on her channel.
On 9 November, in celebration of her 2nd anniversary, Mintmai debuted a casual T-Shirt outfit and released a parody cover of "Sacabambaspis" by Yakamochi titled "Minto-mint-mint-mai."
On 1 December, Mintmai was informed of a typo in her Twitch about blurb from another streamer she raided for the first time. This was when everyone confirmed that neither Mintmai nor Flour Friends knew how to read.
On 21 December, in the final stream of 2024, Mintmai and Flour Friends celebrated their second annual holiday party, decorating a tree as per tradition.
2025
On 18 January, Mintmai began simulcasting her live streams on YouTube for the first time.
On 26 April, Mintmai debuted as an idol vtuber, officially becoming a baker idol vtuber. She performed in her first 3D Idol Live Concert, "Burn Bright" the same day, a concert she independently produced using the funds from her donothon in 2024. She directly attributed her community for being a huge reason she decided to chase her idol dreams, and credited their generosity for directly funding the concert. Her 2025 birthday merchandise collection was launched the same day.
On 8 June, Mintmai became a YouTube Partner and celebrated with a YouTube-exclusive stream. On the same day, she release a cover of "FAKE UP" by ePiaeon.
On 14 June, Mintmai became a Twitch Partner, a milestone after streaming on Twitch for over 2.5 years.
On 29 June, Mintmai held her first charity stream, participating in GamerOutreach's VTuber Summer Slam. Her community raised over $1,000 for charity in less than 4 hours.
In September, Mintmai participated in VCrafted ENchanted, a role-play Minecraft server hosted by NIJISANJI EN members featuring various VTubers across different organizations and indie VTubers. Mintmai role-played as Granny Minterva, the potion witch turned fig and jam connoisseur.
Mintmai celebrated her three years of streaming on October 30 and will be switching to streaming predominantly on YouTube starting October 31, 2025. She released a cover of "Hello" by Furui Riho from CITY THE ANIMATION at the end of her anniversary stream. She debut a new Halloween themed outfit on the 31st.
