She's very modest about herself and her content. Even if she tries her best to interact with her viewers and to bring quality content, she is still sometimes a bit clumsy (not necessarily in a bad way).

She has short, light brown hair with a light blonde streak and small braid with a dark grey-ish blue x hair clip and light pinkish brown eyes.

Mocca's Twitch channel was created on 27 May 2016, and her YouTube account was created on 19 May 2017. She streamed various games prior to her VTuber debut as Mocca. While records from this time are sparse, she describes VTubing as far back as 2018 under a previous identity. Her original character featured an idol-like character wearing a blue, white, and yellow dress with a huge bow at the back and a side-ponytail held in a yellow ribbon and penguin hair tie. However, she later decided that this character did not fit her personality at all.

Mocca applied for the first generation of hololive English in 2020 and passed the first round of auditions, but was ultimately not selected. She also expressed interest in joining NIJISANJI, prior to the formal establishment of their English branch, but would later decide against auditioning as she wanted to have the freedom to stream emulated retro games.

Mocca's Twitter account was created on 18 April 2020. On 30 June, clues to her upcoming VTuber re-debut plans were evidenced when she began listing the Twitch command !live2D in stream descriptions, and on 1 July she held a stream titled "lets design a character." On 7 July she changed her channel name.

On 25 July 2020, Mocca debuted on Twitch. The stream debut had a peak viewership of 140. She already reached 6,000 Twitch followers prior to debut.

• Mocca later clarified that her character's gender is canonically female. "I still don't believe in gender [..] I'm using only she/her pronouns now because it's so annoying, because people don't react to this stuff well. I still think this should be more normalized."
• Liebeskind means "lovely child" in German.
• German VTuber Kuma Berlin cited Mocca as an inspiration who showed that "German humor can be more than no laughing matter."
