An ambitious lesser demon, having nothing but his intellect, created an army of crystal creatures whose living energy comes from nymphs and forest spirits energy, trapped inside their crystal cores.
But a lot of them didn’t live up to the demons expectations. One by one they were eliminated until only one of them remained. With her crystal... quartz core she could adapt and absorb other demons more easily and didn’t show emotions. He wanted to use her to create a better army...
What he wasn’t expecting was for his “perfect” creation to betray when his guard was low. As he was leading her to his lab, she stabbed him in the back and started to absorb him. He tried to fight back, but only managed to break one of her ears.
As she was left alone in that hall, she started to cry. She cried for every one of her loving siblings that she could never say goodbye to and how she had to hide her fear just to survive.
After composing herself, she grabbed a bag full of crystal seeds and ran away to be free.
