Mordraga is something that doesn't quite belong in three dimensions. To the government agency responsible for her containment, that's about as specific as anyone can get. Her vessel, a woman named Vanessa, remains sealed inside a crypt somewhere along the Canada-US border under the supervision of F.E.T.B. Vanessa, meanwhile, is doing fine. She streams. She builds questionable technology. She practices witchcraft. She plays video games. Occasionally the lights flicker and reality around her behaves in ways it probably shouldn't. What F.E.T.B. doesn't know is that Mordraga isn't inside Vanessa. Mordraga built Vanessa. A fourth-dimensional entity cannot simply step into three-dimensional space, so Mordraga constructed something that could exist here: a living, conscious human vessel capable of holding a compressed fragment of something much larger. Vanessa is real. Her thoughts are real. Her memories are real. She has absolutely no idea any of this is happening. Most days, that's probably for the best.

From the depths of the crypt she observes humanity, sharing games, conversations, and fragments of forgotten knowledge while slowly piecing together the truth behind the seal that binds her.
