Nythos Ghostellar

Nythos Ghostellar was born an orphan and grew up on the streets until a tanned elf king named Zimeqo took him in. Nythos believed he’d been saved — raised as a soldier alongside other abandoned children. In truth, Zimeqo was cultivating them for sacrifice.

When Nythos and the others turned sixteen, Zimeqo revealed his real purpose: they were... vessels for a ritual meant to summon a powerful, unknown god. Zimeqo slaughtered the children one by one. Nythos should have died too, but in that moment of terror, grief, and betrayal, his soul connected to the Outer God of Death — The Veiled One. She fused with him, making him immortal and flooding him with necromantic power he couldn’t control.

Fueled by trauma and the Veiled One’s power, Nythos raised an enormous undead army — the largest he had ever created — and invaded Zimeqo’s own kingdom. The human soldiers loyal to Zimeqo fought desperately, but Nythos’ undead forces overwhelmed them during the brutal, three-day assault. Every time Nythos fell in battle, he regenerated in agonizing bursts of divine necrosis — a reminder that the Veiled One was keeping him alive only as long as it suited her.

As the kingdom collapsed around him, Zimeqo escaped through a teleportation spell, leaving Nythos alone in the ruins. Exhausted from controlling such a massive undead horde, Nythos sank into Zimeqo’s throne — just to rest for a moment.

That ‘moment’ became a 300-year sleep. He didn’t realize he had gone dormant. He didn’t realize he had wiped out all life on the planet. He just slept… and the world died around him.

When he finally awoke, he was greeted by a stranger: Darcino, leader of the Nytemare Syndicate. Instead of running, Darcino spoke to him calmly and offered him a place in the Syndicate — a home, a purpose, a family.

The Veiled One whispered that Nythos had nothing left to hold onto. After a moment of quiet acceptance, Nythos agreed.

With the Syndicate, he learned to control his power. And when Darcino later passed away, Nythos — immortal, unaging, and carrying the death-god’s power — built a colossal space station of his own design and began forging alliances or conquering worlds as needed.

Now he is Nythos Ghostellar — The Bone Lord, vessel of an Outer God, survivor of betrayal, and a necromancer warlord shaping his own empire among the stars.
