The agency unveiled itself on the 10th of March 2021 on its Twitter account. On that day, they announced the auditions for the 1st Generation members. The agency received attention after the character designers of the 1st Generation shared their new creations with their followers on the same day. Later on 19 April, the talents posted their first posts on Twitter. They debuted between April 28 and 30.
Trivia
- All members, including those with distinctly Japanese names, have their names officially written in Western order in English. The names that can be written with kanji (Nene, Neena, and Lua) have their order reversed in Japanese.

2021
On 31 October, Kawaii Twitter account uploaded a video teaser to announce their 2nd Generation, showing five upcoming members: Aruru Gray, Namiji Freesia, Shee Icho, Neena Makurano and Lua Asuka. Each of them made their first Tweet right after the announcement and officially debuted on 5 and 6 November (PDT time).
2022
On 28 April, the one-year anniversary of their first generation, the agency announced a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of 3D models for their entire active roster and a 3D concert. The funding goal for this campaign was met on 28 May. The Kickstarter ended on 7 June, having raised 16,000,000 JPY out of its 10,000,000 JPY goal. The agency would particularly thank Miyoshino Shiki of PRISM Project, whom they attributed for helping push the project towards reaching its goal.
On 10 June, Production kawaii's Twitter announced the auditions for the 3rd Generation.
On 15 August, Production kawaii's Twitter announced that the 3rd Generation would be debuting on 28 August.
On 21 August, they revealed 3rd generation accounts, consisting of 5 members Aletta Sky, Peony Aeria, Sava Safari, Oceane Otoishi, and Miryu Kotofuji.
2023
On 7 April, it was announced that the remaining 3rd Generation members would graduate, following disagreements with management regarding the direction of the company.
On 11 June, Production kawaii's Twitter announced the auditions for new talents. The registration period would be from 12 June to 10 July 2023. Later, it would be extended to 31 July.
On 2 October, Production kawaii announced that it will be participating in the Anime NYC 2023. The event was held from November 17 to 19 at Jacob Javits Convention Center.
On 5 October, Production kawaii announced their new generation named Hanamizuki. Their names were officially revealed on 8 October, consisting of three members: Yuno Hanaki, Ran Tsukiha, and Kaya Nishikino, they would debut on 15 October 2023 (14 October PDT).
2024
On 21 February, Production kawaii announced their new generation named Ephemira, consisting of six members: Tomoe Carmine, Meimi Majokko, Kohaku Yumekui, Lethe Bonapuchi, Hiyori Mokami, Navina Nova. They would debut on 1 March and 2 March (PST).
On 9 October, Production kawaii announced that it would be ceasing operations as of 30 November 2024. All 15 talents would be able to keep their channels and social media accounts starting 1 December.
1st Generation
Also known as Eonia. They debuted between April 28 and 30, 2021.
2nd Generation
Also knows as Novamore. They debuted between November 5 and 6, 2021.
3rd Generation
Also known as Enchantasia. They debuted on 28 August 2022, and collectively graduated on 7 April 2023.
Hanamizuki
They are the first group to not use the term "generation." Hanamizuki (花美月) is a combination of three words: hana (花; flower), mi (美; beauty), and tsuki (月; moon), probably meaning "beautiful flower under the moon."
They debuted on 15 October 2023.
Ephemira
They debuted on 1 March and 2 March 2024 (PST).
