Born in Kanto and raised on the shoreline, Snax began her Pokémon journey with a splash—literally. From her first Squirtle to her first badge, she knew her heart belonged to Water-types. What started as a childhood love for the ocean quickly became an obsession: studying the ecology of Water Pokémon, fine-tuning battle strategies, and riding the regional waves in search of stronger currents.

Her travels have taken her across nearly every region—from the quiet ponds of Johto to the cascading waters of Sinnoh and the tropical beaches of Alola. But it was in Galar that her reputation really surged. While training in Hulbury, she struck up a friendship with Nessa, and now serves as part-time Gym Leader when Nessa’s off walking runways or headlining magazine covers.

With her chill energy, tactical skill, and gnarly battle flair, Snax quickly gained her own following. Her battles are unpredictable and stylish. Among challengers, she's known as "The Razor Reef."

Snax doesn’t just train Pokémon. She lives the lifestyle—skater culture, ocean vibes, and a Pokédex full of aquatic aces.

Snax is known for her friendly and inviting demeanor, often balancing a laid-back attitude with a competitive spirit. While she incorporates humor and occasional sarcasm in her interactions, she is recognized for her welcoming approach to her community. In competitive settings, Snax demonstrates a strong drive to succeed, though her playful in-game behavior sometimes borders on lighthearted trolling.

Snax is characterized by her light blue hair, typically worn in a ponytail or bun, and a style often described as "skater goth." Her Gym Leader outfit isn't quite up to the Pokémon League's dress code, but she wears it anyway. It features a color scheme inspired by Azumarill and Quagsire, with a tiger shark motif and Sharpedo-themed markings. When she's off-duty, she'll wear a variety of outfits that fit a skater-goth look.

Prior to her redebut in 2024, Snax streamed as Twitch's original Splatoon VTuber, MarinaTentacles. Prior to that, she went by several aliases, such as "Googie" and "Cumi".
