Ruby Voxx

Ruby's streams range from quiet, chill vibes to high-energy and chaotic. Ruby's personality is best described as "mostly wholesome gremlin." She despises being called mom, mother, or mommy, and will fiercely point out that she's daddy only. Ruby has said at times that her spiritual home of New York City comes through in her personality, and that she aims for vibes that are wholesome and cozy, but where no one takes flak from anyone else.

Ruby is known for her interactivity with her chat and moderators, and the fact that she very often reads her comments aloud before replying to them. She has stated that she wants to build an inclusive, supportive community where everyone feels like they have a safe place to belong.

Ruby is a witch, and weaves her spiritual practice and knowledge into all elements of her life. Her branding and clothing include these elements, and instead of celebrating a single birthday, she celebrates Aries season. She debuted during summer solstice 2022, introducing her Live2D model for the first time and retiring the Vroid model she had streamed with for several years before that.

Ruby's appearance and many of her outfits are intentional references to culture, specifically rokku gyaru. She's mentioned her affection for both urban cityscapes and nighttime scenes as well as natural environments like a witch's house in the woods or a secluded grove. Her background animations and illustrations reflect that combination of the modern and the natural worlds.

Ruby is an oni, and has two small horns just above her eyes on her forehead, split with a set of short rock-style bangs. She often keeps her hair up in a single ponytail or twintails to either side of her head. She has small "pickle" eyebrows above her eyes.

• Members of Ruby's community are called "fiends," and can be seen in Ruby's arms in one pose, across the bottom of the screen when Stream Avatars is running, and elsewhere decorating the chat. The fiends live in "the pit," which is where you go when you subscribe to the channel, and also the name of Ruby's Discord.
