Starting off playing Guilty Gear: Strive, he began to build a following through his one button challenges and viewer matches.

- Salamander had the 13th highest win streak in Blazblue: X tag battle at the end of it's launch week. As well as this he was very briefly the #1 Ranked Blake player in the game.
- During a stream he mentioned his favourite food is Spaghetti Bolognese and Takoyaki... but not together.
