Sayoshigure Kou

Kou is described as "a sadistic, intelligent and carnivorous man", and is someone who is confident and sociable. He is very interactive and connected with his fans, and often makes flirtatious remarks at them.

He is very well-versed in western meme and internet culture, often referencing or quoting popular or even obscure memes or media, as well as making memes himself, and is even a fan of internet personalities such as Cr1TiKaL and Internet Historian.

He thinks that he doesn't act much like an "ikemen" or "be relatable for girls" like he's supposed to, most likely because of his humor and his tendency to always talk about video games and movies, which he pokes fun at himself for, and even making memes about it.

Although he plays, Kou can be quite jumpy when playing horror games. When frightened, he has a tendency to scream 'nyaooooo!'

Kou made his first tweet on 20 March 2021. On 27 March 2021, he made a voice reveal, one in Japanese and one in English, where he also announced his debut date. On the same day, he revealed his finalized art and reference sheet. Eventually, the English version of his voice reveal from Twitter was uploaded to his YouTube channel on 30 March 2021, and was also used as a YouTube advertisement. He made his debut on 3 April 2021.

Although he previously said it as a joke and no longer refers to them as such, fans have agreed they are called "Taxpayers." Fans sometimes him call him Koukou or Nekou (though only when he uses his Chibi avatar with cat ears).

He has been in so many that he lost count. * Kou mostly uses Japanese in his daily life, but uses English during his studies, research, interviews, and when playing games with his foreign friends. * He learned English by "adapting to it," rather than studying it. ** He has studied the basics when he was child, but to learn the language more, he took advantage of the fact he moved to several English-speaking countries and adapted to the way how people around him spoke. * He initially didn't use his Marshmallow account at first, because he prefers that people send tweets and directly interact with him. ** Eventually, he used his Marshmallow account for people to submit anonymous messages regarding serious topics for streams meant for counseling and consoling. * Kou owns a cat. He says that he cannot show him or share his name, but can assure that "he is the best boy". * He has a female alter ego named Shiame Saya, who is also his older sister. Her name comes from a mistransliteration of Kou's name from Google Translate. Saya was officially introduced in a stream where Kou played a horror game, where Saya stated that Kou was too much of a coward to play the game, and that she was going to fill in for him. Since then, Saya sometimes makes cameos in Kou's streams.
