SleepyXah is an kemonomimi fox boy, distinguished by his vivid crimson coloring and an unsettlingly gentle presence that contrasts with his eerie origins. He has short, tousled red hair and large fox ears atop of his head, paired by long, fluffy fox tail that fades into a deeper shades of red toward the tip. His eyes are similarly red toned, often giving him a sleepy, distant, or melancholic expression.

He wears and oversized, altered Japanese school-style outfit, loosely inspired by a sailors uniform. The outfit is predominantly dark purple and black, accented with deep red details. The top hangs long and wide, giving it a kimono-like silhouette, with suspenders and layered fabric contributing to its worn appearance. The outfit itself gives off a androgynous aesthetic blurring the lines of traditional gender norms.

His body is marked by numerous bandages and medical wrappings, most around his legs, suggesting of repeated injuries or prolonged "treatment". These bandages, along with subtle scars and adhesive bandages, suggests he was a former patient at his haunted abandoned hospital. He also wears dark, strapped boots.

SleepyXah debuted on 1 December 2025 on Twitch, made their first video on YouTube on 3 December 2025.
