Sodapoppin is highly addicted to World of Warcraft, often abandoning his stream to play the game in his own personal time. His addiction has led to a haughty attitude, and he won't hesitate to demean his viewers. Strangely, his viewers become ever-more emboldened with every demeaning remark and will donate more.

SquChan based Sodapoppin's design on his VRChat model, but made significant changes. Similarities to the VRChat model can be found in the bow on the side of Sodapoppin's head and the cigarette.

Sodapoppin sports dark brown hair with a lick of neon pink on the bangs and a pale skin complexion. His eyes are blue and feature SquChan's signature pink heart in the upper left (upper right from a third-person perspective) of the iris. He has a mole on the right cheek–which is also present in his FleshTuber form. A blue hairclip holds his hair back on the right side while a ribbon bowtie with a Lil' Purp pin is on the left. Sodapoppin can activate his cat ears and tail whenever he wants.

The jacket is mostly white and black, and accompanied by neon pink and blue. Neon pink straps can be found on the jacket's sleeves, and black blue straps hang from the collar. The jacket is decorated with two pins: One references the druid class icon from World of Warcraft and the other references his former catchphrase "Pyah." On the sleeves are Japanese katakana which read Sodapoppin. His hoodie can be extended over his head. It has cat themed "ears."

Under the jacket is a short black top with diamond shaped holes on the chest and back. His torso is entirely exposed. He wears black shorts that don't fully cover his thighs. On his feet are red high top canvas shoes and mismatched socks. The left sock is a reference to Sodapoppin's giraffe emote on his Twitch channel. A cosmetic belt extends down and over his right hip, while a functional blue belt holds his pants.

He has a bandaid on his left thigh for some reason.

It's not known where Sodapoppin came from (some say he came from his mother), but there is speculation that he physically spawned within World of Warcraft. Occasionally, he ventures into other games to maintain his sanity–such as VRChat (although some argue that his sanity degrades further).

Sodapoppin picked up his smoking habits after being kicked out of the house by his parents. He smokes because he thinks "those are cool".

• Lil' Purp is an extension of Sodapoppin's main body. The cat's face mirrors Soda's when he speaks, will put on sunglasses when Soda uses the shovel, and enter a state of suffering if Soda smokes.

• Sodapoppin is aware that he is very "cute."
• He has acid reflux issues. Every time he says he's going to throw up, he really is about to throw up.
• Donated $3000 to Projekt Melody's debut stream on Chaturbate.
• Intercepted every digital phallus that was directed at Veibae during an unbroadcasted orgy event in VRChat.
• A relentless bully, Sodapoppin will degrade all women, men and disabled persons.
• Sodapoppin and SquChan were designed and rigged by the same people. SquChan designed herself and Sodapoppin, and MrRollingCircle provided their rigs.
• Sodapoppin and SquChan share a quirk with the way their chest sizes are displayed on their models. They both seem flat even though SquChan has depicted herself and Soda with big boing boings.
• He was engaged to Veibae, but the latter called off the engagement after Sodapoppin failed to honor her after a game of League of Legends.
