Sushidog has a cheerful and easygoing personality, striving to make her streams a comfy and healing space for her viewers.
Despite being very telented, bad exeperiences with the online community made so she isn't always the most confident in her work, but with time and recognition, she has started to regain her confidence.
During her streams (that she describes as "20% art, 80% yap") she engages at lengh with her chat, with great sense of humor and sometimes retelling her own personal stories that the illustrates live with cute doodles.
Appearance
On her default model, sushidog looks like a young woman with pink hair with a purple lock and horns.
She is dressed in very colorful traditional japanese clothing and carrying lots of art supply, including a very oversized paintbrush.
Sushidog also has an alternative model where she presents herself as a literal dog made of sushi.
Background
Her father being American and her mother Japanese, sushidog combined her favorite foods from both countries, hot dogs and sushi, to create the name sushidog.
Sushidog loved drawing since she was a child, and that hobby led her to create illustrations through an American commission website.
After moving to Japan at the end of 2019, sushidog started streaming as a way to let people know about her work and activities when she had to work from home more often due to the pandemic. In the process of streaming her illustration work, sushidog became engrossed in the joy of analog illustration, and is currently working as both a streamer and an illustrator.

2023
On 7 February, sushidog achieved an honorable mention as a finalist in the COPIC AWARDS 2022 , for which an interview with her was published on December 26th
On 21 July, it was announced that Sushidog would be apart of the "385colors" Copic gallery held at Umeda Loft in Osaka. , which lasted from 3 August to 22 August.
On 29 November, sushidog had a collaboration with the COPIC brand, doing an airbrush video tutorial on the official COPIC channel.
2025
On 29 January, sushidog had her first solo exhibition entited『Fairy Ring エアブラシの魔法』(Fairy Ring: The Magic of Airbrushing) at the Bumpodo Gallery in Tokyo.
On 17 September, sushidog successfully funded her campaign for a plushie of her mascot, "BBL Daisy" through Makeship. This would later be fulfilled on 2 February 2026.
On 6 November, Sushidog announced that her entry into COPIC AWARD 2025, 「コピックアワード」(Kokoro no CMYK), had achieved the honorable PIXIV Award. She would go on to release an interview on 2 February, with Pixivision, regarding the creation of her award winning work.
2026
On 1 July, sushidog announced that her manga portfolio review had recieved attention from editor(s) within the manga industry, and as such she would begin to more heavily pursue her dream of becoming a manga artist. This would result in less frequent streams as she would begin working towards her eventual debut.
