Uguu started off as an art streamer. She did not stream with a camera due being self-conscious about accidentally making stupid faces while drawing. However, she was worried about not having a way to show chat she was paying attention. So she found some software that allowed her to stream as a PNGtuber for a while. As Hololive became popular, she started learning about Live2D technology and would eventually commit to getting a Live2D model.

- She likes horror, puzzle, MMORPG, simulation, rhythm, and MOBA games.
Miscellaneous
- Prior to her model, LucidSky had only made one VTuber model, which was for Hiiro. Hiiro was the one who got Uguu into VTubing.
- When Uguu asked TheArtGun to rig her first model, ArtGun had not rigged any VTuber models before but was familiar with the process.

2020
On 24 August, Uguu started talking with LucidSky to design her model.
On 6 September, Uguu announced that she was seeking a Live2D rigger.
On 23 and 24 September, Uguu posted teasers of her model in motion.
On 26 September, she announced the date of her debut stream and first subathon.
In September, Uguu was invited by Kalce to join a artist circle which became Mofu Cafe.
On 2 October, Uguu officially debuted as a VTuber.
2021
On 7 May, Uguu held a subathon to celebrate 15k followers on Twitch.
On 27 May, she reached 100k followers on TikTok.
On 2 October, she held a one-year anniversary stream in which she recounted her journey up until this point as well as future plans.
2022
On 25 January, she announced that she was the first VTuber to be sponsored by Elgato.
On 28 July, she held her first stream as a Twitch ambassador.
On 16 November, Uguu announced that she was now represented by the talent agency, Viral Nation.
2023
On 16 March, Uguu announced the date of her 2.0 redebut.
On 31 March, Uguu held her 2.0 redebut with a model illustrated by LucidSky and rigged by Mochipu. She has a new maid outfit and a maid cafe background.
On 15 November, Uguu celebrated her Twitch Partner anniversary and also held a mini debut.
2024
On 23 August, Uguu announced that her community finally has a mascot, Butter Bears.
