Veekay Egg lore: Long ago, Veekay apprenticed to a very clumsy witch who had a habit of miscasting things and blowing up her shack more times than she could count. Ever wondered where she got her egg? The witch tried to summon breakfast for one morning and now the egg is permanently stuck on Veekay's head!
Meringue (cats) Lore: On her way to the witch's hut one morning, Veekay found the cutest kitten and brought it along. That day, the witch attempted a simple cloud spell to water her plants and accidentally transformed the kitten into a little ghost cloud instead. The witch, who had a loving pet bird who is terrified of "ghosts" (yes ghosts, not cats), begged Vee to take it! So she did, and named it Phasmo (short for phasmophobia).
As time went on, many of these incidents kept happening. This species of cats are called meringue and are now following Veekay on many of her adventures.
Veekay eventually left the apprentice life behind to make art and play games, with Phasmo and the other meringues by my side. ♥
