On 23 November, the web domain v-reverie.com was registered. Two days later on 25 November they announced their establishment. Hotaru Iora, a Filipino VTuber who debuted in February 2021, was announced as the group's first member, part of VReverie "GEN 0".

On 8 October, Salmon Lordette ceased to be an independent VTuber and joined VReverie as generation 2.5, unofficially kown as "Odyssey+."

On 17 December, VReverie announced that Cheri Lupina would be graduating on 28 January 2024. On the same day, VReverie announced that Erika Byakko would be graduating on 7 January 2024.

Merchandise issues

VReverie's management was criticized by its audience for failures to deliver merchandise, including voice packs. Even after the agency's closure, a certain number of filed refunds, regarding the undelivered merch, were still left to be fulfilled, as acknowledged by Arial Yuriko.

Graduations

By the end of 2023, a third of the group's members had graduated, with more to come in 2024. While the talents were not allowed to discuss their reasons for graduation, a common pattern was that talents described experiencing significant stress.

When they were about to announce their graduations within the same week, Lilrya Prisvielle, Rana Ianna, and Akiko Sushi posted a waiting room on their respective channels. After Lilrya and Rana streamed and announced the news themselves, the agency released the full written announcement, thus spoiling Akiko's graduation. In reaction to the staff's initiative, Akiko started what she would call "a chatting stream." To begin her stream, she was wearing clown assets, and playing Entrance of the Gladiators as background music, saying it was to make everyone feel better with her humor.

On graduation stream, Akiko gave only hint on why she graduated, as she mentioned there was a "legal issue".

Ultimately, Estella Starfall announced her graduation all by herself at the end of a casual stream. At her own suggestion, management made no public written announcement, and let her graduate quietly.

The former Ophelia Midnight mentioned on 29 January 2026 that she didn't even have a work contract with VReverie. She decided freely the day of her graduation and was only bound to them by an NDA.

Disrespect of graduated talents

On 25 February 2025, a new agency, LunovaPro, started its promotion from a Twitter account, which turned out as originally belonging to Hotaru Iora. The graduated talent apparently had her Twitter account sold by VReverie to LunovaPro.

On the same day, it was noticed that Lilrya Prisivielle's YouTube channel was renamed into "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA", its description erased, and its content gone. This action was against the talent's will, as she expressed wanting her channel to stay indefinitely up with its content.
