On 19 July 2020, a group of upcoming Livers were teased with an image of their silhouettes on VirtuaReal's bilibili account. The next day, VirtuaReal officially announced their ninth generation of Virtual Livers, including Chiharu, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles.

On 27 July 2020, Chiharu released her first video, featuring the models of the ninth wave.

On 29 July 2020, Chiharu released her self-introduction, the first video to feature both her model and voice.

On 31 July 2020, Chiharu was the last of the new VirtuaReal members to debut on stream.

• Chiharu's fan name is "小春卷" (Little Spring Roll).

A beautiful girl with the same nationality as Sherlock Holmes, Chiharu has always firmly believed herself to possess outstanding detective talent, even if as the school’s detective club president her record of solved cases so far is still 0.

“It won’t take too long, I’ll definitely succeed in solving my first case.” Though she says this, what Chiharu wants to do most is still to find her older sister, who she lost touch with seventeen years ago since she left home because of a forbidden love affair. This was also her original motive for becoming a detective.

And so, one day as she was searching on the pavement with a magnifying glass for tiny clues that might be there, as she usually did, she keenly discovered VirtuaReal’s streamer recruitment ad hidden in a secret nook where the average person wouldn’t find it (on a street stall). Based on meticulous and careful reasoning, she believed that if she undertook livestream activities, there would be a high possibility of being seen by her sister. So then, she gladly went to VirtuaReal's headquarters and was successfully chosen.

But what this 17-year-old girl detective didn't know was the root reason she was selected for- definitely not because of that nonsense "keen observation," "painstaking meticulousness," or "ability to easily lead other people to find the right path", but her insight that even the corner cat can’t find… even if she is inviting everyone to nitpick her. We hope this optimistic and extroverted girl can bring those around her out of the dark recesses of their minds.
