She has ocean green eyes with stars, grey twin-tail hairs with a "YU" hair clip and giant beads, pink-blue eyeshadow and stars under the eyes.
She wears a pink-blue jumpsuit jacket with a cat shaped hood, white shirt with black ribbon, collar with bells, thigh belt and boots.

On 9 November 2021, she announced that she will be retiring.

On 30 September 2024, Virtual Zeven has announced a "Coming Soon" of an unknown VTuber who has a familiar look of Yu with only a few text described without any other annoucements or explanations afterwards.

- Her main name Yu, meaning "you" in English.
- Her middle name Estella is rooted in 'stella', Latin for 'a star'. The spelling resembles that of the Spanish name Estela (which shares the same Latin root) sans the extra L.
- In Japanese, her surname 「きらめき」 ("Kirameki"), meaning sparkles.
