Lore
Once upon a time, long, long ago, in The Matriarchal Kingdom of the Far East (極東之地女兒國) somewhere on a distant continent, there lived a king who had two daughters.
The elder princess (長公主) was gentle by nature, skilled in every art imaginable, music, painting, literature, and strategy (琴棋書畫樣樣精通). She understood the heavens above and the land... below, and she saved the kingdom many times by devising solutions for famine and disasters. Because of this, she was deeply loved by the people.
The younger princess (小公主), however, was mischievous. From childhood to adulthood, she caused more trouble than the number of meals she ever ate. Yet despite her endless pranks and mistakes, the king, the queen, and her older sister adored her dearly, for she was the palace’s brightest source of joy.
As the little princess grew older, her curiosity about the world outside the palace only increased. But because she was royalty, she was forbidden from leaving to explore. So after much planning and scheming, on a dark, stormy night, the young princess gathered every valuable item she could find, disguised herself as a servant, and secretly slipped out of the palace to the Central Continent (中央大陸).
Seeing the outside world for the first time, the princess spent her days eating, playing, drinking, and having fun over and over again. After what felt like five hundred thirty million years (五億三千四百年), her money was nearly gone. So a few years ago, she decided to study seriously, entering modern schools and working her way up from elementary school all the way to university (現代小學讀至大學).
Now armed with great knowledge (though not really), she felt confident enough to raise her head high and contact the king, the queen, and her beloved older sister. She would tell them that she was no longer the naïve girl she once was…
And as for what happened after that...
That story is what we are living now. Show more
