On 8 April, the management of Unlimited apologized and a reorganization of the production took place. Unlimited separated the management of the company from the direction of the voice talents. On 15 April, the cast resumed their activities.
VA replacement
In June 2019, Unlimited replaced the voice actress for Sakuragi Miria, followed in July by the voice actor for Domyoji Haruto. This sparked another controversy for the company and generated massive fan backlash, resulting in significant subscription losses for the channels involved. On 17 July 2019, Unlimited released a statement, which contained another apology and an explanation regarding the VA replacements that effectively shifted Unlimited's goal, from making "VTuber content" to "character driven content", where they coined the portmanteau Character YouTuber (キャラクターユーチューバー) or "CTuber" for short, as a term to refer to their VTubers. This completely failed to resolve the controversy, and as a result the Game Club Project never recovered its original popularity. By September, the original 4-person cast of the Game Club Project had been replaced, and in December the original voice of Domyoji Cocoa would leave the company as well, with a new VA replacing her in early 2020. On 31 December 2020, Unlimited, now under new management and rebranded to Brave Group, announced the end of three of its projects: the Game Club Project, YUIKA's ROOM and AyaHina Channel. 6 talents in total across these projects also retired. The new Sakuragi Miria would continue on as a solo talent before leaving Brave to join the talent agency HIGHWAY STAR in 2021.
Trivia
* Tokyo Cinderella Story and Tiny Band Story are multimedia projects that follow Unlimited Inc.'s "Character YouTuber" content strategy. These have a planned plot, defined characters and episodes which make them much more like anime, in contrast to modern VTuber channels. The concept proved to be highly unpopular, so this type of content was quietly abandoned after Unlimited's transformation from an agency into a holding company under the name Brave Group. * Brave Group's subsidiary ENILIS Inc. runs the ENILIS VLiver Project (formerly the HareVare Virtual LiveStreamer Training Program), which functions similarly to ANYCOLOR's VIRTUAL TALENT ACADEMY, but produces VTuber graduates for agencies under ENILIS Inc., such as Uniraid! and Vlash. Trainees stream on IRIAM under the LELOMO (female) or SYNTHE (male) VLiver labels. The top VLivers move up to the brossom label. * Brave has an animation studio subsidiary called Brave Pictures. This studio produced the animation for some VSPO! original song MVs. * Brave's subsidiary Game & Co. collaborated with the popular Japanese eSports organization Crazy Raccoon in 2025 to launch a called Xross Stars featuring select VTubers from VSPO!, Neo-Porte and the indie VTuber Kamito, along with Crazy Raccoon's streamers on the cards. * By sense of solidarity, the different branches of Brave US and Europe tend to call each other "cousins" or "Brave cousins", as a huge family.
