2018

On 15 July, Palette Project opened its YouTube account under the name "Alt!!".

On 23 July, the channel uploaded its first video, a cover of 's "Melancholic" by Akatsuki Clara.

On 22 August, Alt!! released an original song for its debut tilted "StAlt!!"

On 1 September, Alt!! held its first YouTube livestream where members introduced themselves as a virtual idol unit.

On 9 December, Alt!! released its second single titled "Three Piece."

On 30 December, Alt!! held its first offline live at Ikebukuro Nico Nico Honsha. The group sang "Three Piece" for its opening song.

2019

On 26 February, Tohsaka Yura took an indefinite hiatus due to her poor health. She would later resume activities during the latter part of the year.

On 7 June, Alt!! held its first anniversary live at Buion. A livestream was also held on its YouTube channel.

On 8 June, Alt!! held its second Live titled "TA-NO-SHI-MOVE!!!". The event was held at at Akihabara P.A.R.M.S., where Rona and Clara performed live.

On 3 July, the Alt!! YouTube channel held a livestream announcing the start of Palette Project. Three new members were announced, namely Tokiwa Kaname, Fujimiya Kotoha, and Shirogane Helena.

On 6 November, Palette Project terminated Shirogane Helena's contract, citing breach of confidentiality.

On 29 December, Palette Project announced that Kamina Kohane and Amagasaki Eko will be joining Palette Project.

2020

On 4 February, it was announced that Eba Kyouka will be joining Palette Project.

On 8 March, Palette Project announced the formation of a new unit named "Altimate!!" featuring Nanami Rona, Fujimiya Kotoha and Kamina Kohane as members.

On 9 June, new member Kitami Ayumu officially joined Palette Project.

On 27 June, Palette Project announced the formation of a new unit named "Regalilia" featuring Tohsaka Yura, Eba Kyouka and Kitami Ayumu as members.

On 28 July, Amagasaki Eko graduated from Palette Project to continue as an independent. A graduation broadcast was held on July 28.

On 18 August, Palette Project announced that Kanaru Hanon will be joining Palette Project as a new member.

On 5 September, Palette Project announced the formation of a new unit named "Sputrip" featuring Tohsaka Yura, Eba Kyouka and Kitami Ayumu as members.

2021

On 16 March, Palette Project announced that Tohsaka Yura would be graduating from Palette Project due to the difficulty of returning her activities back to the same pace as before. She has been inactive since the end of December 2020 due to health problems. She continued her activities as a solo artist after graduating from the group.

On 16 November, Palette Project announced its first offline concert titled "Sing with You!". The event was held on 30 December at Shinjuku Alta KeyStudio.

2022

On 7 June, Brave Group announced the acquisition of MateReal, Inc., the company behind Palette Project. Although the business management department and system department would be integrated, the business operation would be operated independently as before.

On 30 December, Palette Project held its second offline concert titled "Crossing for the Rainbow."

2023

On 10 January, Palette Project announced that Kamina Kohane will be graduating on 31 January 2023. A final concert stream for the unit "Altimate!!" was held on 30 January 2023, where Kohane performed together with Fujimiya Kotoha and Nanami Rona.

On 8 March, Palette Project announced the formation of a new unit named "RouteHeart" featuring former Altimate!! unit members Nanami Rona and Fujimiya Kotoha. An online concert was also held on Palette Project's YouTube channel.

On 14 June, Palette Project announced that all members will be receiving Live2D models.

On 30 December, Palette Project held its third offline concert titled "Stepping Prism." A portion of the concert was streamed on the official YouTube channel.

2024

On 2 February, Palette Project released its 9th single titled "Sweet♡Heart☆Palette♪"

On 7 May, Palette Project announced that new PalePro Trainees (a.k.a "Research Students") will be joining the agency. Teasers for the six trainees were released on May 11.

On 12 September, Palette Project announced that Mashiro Momona will be going on an indefinite hiatus after discovering the possibility that she may have violated her contract. The group also reported that they were already in the process of verifying the facts.

On 30 September, Palette Project released an update on their investigation about Mashiro Momona and her possible violation of her contract. The announcement detailed that in Momona's past streams, the talent has made statements that could lead to a possible leak of confidential company information. It was also revealed that prior to her suspension, she was already given two warnings regarding the matter. After some discussions, it was decided that after going back from suspension, Momona will be working as a solo member affiliated with MateReal Inc., the company that manages Palette Project, rather than being part of Palette Project's Trainees.

On 1 October, Palette Project announced that a new official store will launch on 16 October 2024. PalePro's BOOTH will still be active, with some new products be possibly distributed through BOOTH in the near future. With the announcement of the new e-commerce store, it was also announced that some products will also be partially discontinued.

On 2 October, Palette Project announced that all the regular members will be having a debut of their new 3D models. The stream was decided to happen on 16 October 2024.

On 16 December, Palette Project announced the debut of Saotome Gabu, a new Palette Project Trainee. She held her debut stream on 21 December.

On 22 December, Palette Project announced the debut of Saine Ruka, another Trainee. She held her debut stream on 28 December.

On 30 December, Palette Project announced the debut of Henge Rime as a Trainee. She held her debut stream on 4 January 2025.

2025

On 10 February, Palette Project announced that Nihonbare Koko will be graduating. Koko was set to graduate on 19 March 2025, with all her associated accounts to be deleted on 31 May 2025. On the same day, Koko held a live stream to discuss about her decision to graduate.

On 1 April, Palette Project owner MateReal Inc. was merged along with brossom Inc. into Brave Group's ENILIS subsidiary, which took over the management of Palette Project.

On 4 August, Mashiro Momona announced her graduation from Palette Project. She will be graduating on 10 August, while her X and YouTube will eventually be deleted afterward. A graduation notice was later published on the official ENILIS website.

On 11 September, Palette Project announced that Saine Ruka will be going on indefinite hiatus due to physical and mental health issues.

2026

On 7 January, Palette Project announced that Saine Ruka and Saotome Gabu will be graduating on 22 January.

On 13 January, Brave Group announced Palette Project's official transfer to jig.jp while entering a joint management system with former PalePro parent company ENILIS Inc.

On 17 February, Palette Project announced Nanagisa Mahalo's promotion from Trainee to Regular member, and that she will be getting a 3D debut.

On 10 April, Palette Project announced that Aizome Anela and Henge Rime, their last two trainee members, will be leaving the agency.
* Henge Rime will be transferring to a VTuber agency under jig.jp on 15 May 2026.
* Aizome Anela will be graduating on 29 June 2026.

Palette Project Regulars

The Palette Project "Regular" (正規) members are the "full members" of the agency.

Generation 1

Palette Project's three original members who debuted in 2018, when PalePro was still known under the name Alt!!.

Generation 2

Debuted on 3 July 2019.

Generation 3

Debuted starting on 29 December 2019 with Kamina Kohane and Amagasaki Eko, followed by Eba Kyouka on 4 February 2020.

Generation 4

Debuted on 9 June 2020 beginning with Kitami Ayumu, followed by Kanaru Hanon on 18 August 2020.

Promoted Members

Members who joined PalePro as a Trainee and got promoted to Regular status. Mahalo became a Regular member on 17 February 2026.

Official units

The Regulars group currently has three units: RouteHeart (Rona and Kotoha), Regalilia (Kyouka and Ayumu), and Sputrip (Kaname, Clara, and Hanon).

Altimate!!

Formed on 8 March 2020. Disbanded with Kamina Kohane's graduation on 31 January 2023. Rona and Kotoha continued on as a new unit, "RouteHeart".

RouteHeart

Formed on 8 March 2023 with former Altimate!! members.

Regalilia

Formed on 27 June 2020. Kyouka is a Gen 3 member, while Ayumu comes from Gen 4.

Sputrip

Formed on 5 September 2020. Clara is a Gen 1 member, Kaname comes from Gen 2 and Hanon is from Gen 4.

Palette Project Trainees

The Palette Project "Trainees" (研究生) (a.k.a Research Students) debuted on 7 May 2024 with its first six members: Aizome Anela, Tsukimiya Ao, Nanagisa Mahalo, Nihonbare Koko, Mashiro Momona, and Mutsuraboshi Naru.
